If it's for the Nest hello doorbell, how it works?

Works fine on mine, the nest doorbell works all the time.

How do i know if this is compatible with ring video doorbell wired – convenient

Check the ring doorbell specifications to make sure that it requires 18V AC if that is not the requirement I don't think you should buy this transformer. There is an error in the Amazon website. The Transformer output is of 18V AC and not of 16 VAC as mentioned in the website. The technical description says "Doorbell Transformer, 16V / 800mA Power Adapter" The adapter itself clearly and correctly says 18 VAC. Anyhow I tested the output and the multimeter gave me 18 VAC and quite stable. The description should be corrected, I reported it but they have not done the correction.

Is there a way to secure or lock the adapter to the outlet ? I want to use this for my rental TH and don't want guest to unplug it.

I just put a lock box over the outlets. The only way a person could unplug it would be to literally cut the cable that goes in and outside of the box. They sell the boxes on Amazon (very cheap) and you can even get metal ones if desired and most are weatherproof if needed. Not sure if this helps, but again, the boxes come with a corner 'hole' that is specifically for a lock. Again, hope this helps you! I'm just a customer too...

Will this charge a ring doorbell 2

Yes, so long as the distance isn’t too far (you can calculate the voltage drop if needed). I use this transformer on a Ring Doorbell 2, and I’d estimate the distance between my transformer and doorbell is about 75’.
