Q: Does this work with the microsoft remote desktop app on macbook?

I don't know about the app. But It works on everything I've done so far, and I use a MacBook Pro and air.

Yes, it works with my chromebook

I can't answer for the IPad Air, but it does work with my IPad Pro attached to the Magic Keyboard Case.
