EZ-106(14mm-1.5) EZ Oil Drain Valve with removable Hose End Combo

Great product! I bought the EZ-106 (14mm-1.5) EZ Oil Drain Valve with the removable hose end for my 2018 Kia Soul with the 2.0L engine. Before this, I was using a HighFree 12V 60W oil change pump, which worked well for extracting oil from the pan. However, since the oil filter on this car is located underneath, I still had to deal with draining the remaining oil into a pan. That’s why I decided to try this drain valve after reading many positive reviews—and it did not disappoint. Installation was straightforward, and it makes oil changes much cleaner and easier. No more mess or hassle with removing the drain plug every time. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

This is an excellently manufactured valve, and includes recessed o-ring gaskets. It's compact even if you leave the drain nipple attached. It has a locking mechanism to prevent the valve from accidentally opening.

I have had this installed on car since 2019. It works amazing and no more mess. I plug a nylon hose into it that drains into and empty container bypassing the use of a drain pan. It goes right into the container you put a cap on to dispose of. Love it and put one on my wife’s car as well.

Works on a 2010 Lincoln navigator. Once I installed, it doesn’t leak one bit! I already have used two oil changes with it. No problem whatsoever. I love it

This is a great valve if for some reason you want to have something like this. The valve is fairly inexpensive and well designed and made. In my case the valve was able to thread in and tighten so the release lever is at the top. The valve has the o-ring so you do not need a gasket. The valve is fairly compact so hitting it while of roading is probably a low chance. The hose spigot is removable to make sure it is not a problem even if you manage to hit it. The opening in the valve is surprisingly large so the oil draining is slow, but not as slow as I though it would be. So definitely recomend.

Not even close to fitting my car. Only a bummer it means waiting until next change as punishment for trusting Amazon compatibility.

This is the second time that I’ve ordered this item for a Chrysler two 300-2016. The shelflife for this item is about a year and a half or two years, but that really makes three or four easy oil changes.

Have to give this a five star. I have a motorhome and taking it to a dealer for oil changes can get expensive. Not many discount oil exchange places can do the changes because of the height of the motorhome. I buy my oil and filters for all my vehicles from Walmart because they are very welcoming to RV'ers and they have regular sales on Mobile 1 full synthetic. Getting under the vehicle is relatively easy the only rub is the cross member just below the oil plug. It can get out of hand pretty fast if I don't have cardboard or some other material to catch oil that may hit the cross member. I've read a couple comments on the RV blogs raving about these drains so I took a shot and hit a bullseye. I went to the company website to match my engine block with the correct drain and I recommend that you do the same. This unit comes with nipple which screws on drain side of the valve and can then be connected to a flexible hose. The hose is also offered as an ad on when you purchase the drain valve. Now I'm able to connect the hose, route it past the cross member or any obstacle, place it in my drain pan and turn the valve to the open position. In my case the drain valve is not near anything that could possibly break it off. Again I recommend going to the company website and cross reference what they recommend, you can even call them if your still not sure.

Good alternative to fumoto

I used the website to find the right size for my car (honda civic 1.8ivtech 2012) but the new plug doesn't fit as it's too chunky and is blocked by the sump pan. Shame as otherwise it seems well made.

Installed on my motor home as the oil drain plug was directly above the front axle. This will make the job of draining so much cleaner. Highly recommend. Make sure you order the proper size to fit your vehicle.
