This lamp is amazing for so many different purposes. Setup was very easy. It fits very nicely on the corner of a nightstand or desk. I especially love the touch controls, and that it has a brightness control feature to protect your eyes. That's very helpful for someone like me who suffers from chronic migraines and tension headaches. Light may not be a migraine trigger for me, but it certainly is a useful feature. I bought my lamp for crafting as I love to diamond paint and color. I had another craft light that was larger, however I accidentally knocked it over and it ended up breaking. This light is the perfect replacement. The easy to set up clamp stays in place, and the neck can be adjusted to whatever you need it for. Like if you're in bed reading, at a desk doing homework, doing a jigsaw puzzle, on your laptop or tablet, coloring, the lamp can be adjusted to how you like it. It's the perfect bedside lamp! A+ for crafting!

I needed replacement desk lights as mine were dimming and going yellow. I saw these lights, read the reviews, and decided to take the plunge. I purchassed two of them and they are mounted on my desk where I also perform some mechanical operations. I use them on the brightest setting, the most white light. They are excellent, the high brightness is very good and the color of the light in the white mode is right on the money. One of the lights had a slight warp in the plastic housing but does not affect its performance. I am really satisfied with my purchase. Longevity is yet to be tested and of course time will tell. If you are looking for a very versatile light that won't break the bank and has great performance, this may be the light for you. I recommend them.

We are really happy with these lights. We ended up buying 4 for our office, living room and bedroom. They work really well and are extremely durable and well made. They really do provide a whole range of lighting options. Warm or cool, dimmed or bright, and the best part is the easy touch control that remembers its last setting. The added bonus is the flexible gooseneck. You can bend this light and which way without fearing its going to break it.

I like this lamp and am happy with it. I use for electronics and the light and 5x magnification is very handy. In particular the ability to switch the color temperature of the light for better rendering of different color contrast is good for electronics where lots of times the writing on the parts is almost indistinguishable. The dimmer is very slow. At first I thought it was broken and started a return. But then I discovered you just have to hold the button down for quite a while (5-10 seconds) before you notice a dimming effect. Then it dims very quickly at the bottom end of the scale. Obviously their dimmer circuit is not compensated for the way the human eye perceives light. Its just a linear dimmer, which makes the top half of the dimming scale useless because although its working, the human eye cant tell the difference. But once you get to the lower half of the scale it starts appearing dimmer. Also the cord management could be better. My work bench has enough cords all over the place as it is. I would have preferred if the control panel had been on the lamp rather than in the power cord, then I could have hidden the power cord under my bench. But all in all it works well and is a good value for the money

When I bought this I was picturing a big heavy steel pivoting arm that would be sturdy but also clumsy to move around. What I got was much more thin, light and compact than I expected. Despite the materials being lighter and thinner than I imagined, it feels very sturdy. The knobs and springs seem to have a good tension and the light stays in place without much effort. The magnifying glass is a great focal length for what I use it for (scale modeling) and the oculus is large enough to peer through with two eyes at the same time. The ability to change the color temperature of the light is the killer feature. I didn't think it was important when I bought the lamp, but now that I have it I realize it's a very nice feature. Now I frequently switch between a full spectrum light for painting, and when I'm doing non color critical work, the warm light that's less harsh on the eyes and matches my apartment lighting. Work lights have apparently come a long way from the industrial florescent lights of yore.

Ok so I’m an esthetician and I have ordered these multiple times, I ordered one for my nail tech too. They are small, great magnification, great lighting, easy to use and great price point. They have a clamp to attach to a table or desk. Won’t fit an esthetic bed. With care it should last you at least the price you pay for it. With that said, moving it around constantly will put strain on the lamp and will eventually need to be replaced. I don’t mind replacing as it wears when it is such a good product at an excellent price point. I would definitely recommend and will be reordering again

after reading a few reviews mention a cheap-feeling construction, i was a little nervous. but after receiving the lamp, i was happy to find that it feels really solid and works well. the clamp, arm, and lamp sections all have a good weight to them and feel well made, at least to me. and it's plenty of light for my purposes. also happy to report i have zero flicker on the medium light temperature, another issue i read in other reviews. i wanted to get a light i could use to look at papers on my desk, and to use as a ring light for my meetings while working from home. happy to say it works well for both of those, plus an unexpected third use: i can softly light up the wall behind my computer monitor at night to create a nice back lighting effect and make the screen easier on my eyes. for the ring light, i rotate the lamp so it faces me from right above the webcam, and i can dim it down so its a comfortable brightness to have shining on my face. even with my limited space behind my desk, i am able to manipulate the lamp into a variety of positions for any possible use. i haven't used the magnifying function yet but i will probably use that for my occasional soldering project. and i like the white color too, looks very sleek and minimalist.

It's a solid magnifying lamp. Gets nice and bright, adjustable color temperature, and the magnifying glass is more than big enough for most people's purposes in a craft room or lab. The inline controller is nice, as it's positioned close to the lamp, not the plug. The C-clamp style bracket is a bit small, but the lamp doesn't weight much, so you don't need bigger than that, unless you're clamping on to an odd surface. My only complaint is, the way the steel is folded around for the "peg" part of the lamp that slots into the mounting bracket positions the seam right where it catches on the tightening bolt, so you have to leave it a little loose if you're clamping on to a surface and aiming the lamp away from that surface (mine is clamped on to a shelf over a desk, with the lamp bent away from the shelf) Wish it came in black, or maybe a copper/bronze? That would be great. Maybe I'll try to paint mine.
