This is my second one of these - SUPERIOR QUALITY 5 STARS
This item is so good, I ended buying two of them. I loved the first one so much that when I needed another one, I chose this one. First for functionality - it either mounts with the included clamps or you can use an access hole to secure it, which is what I needed to do with this one and my desk was too thick for the standard clamp. The price of this is superior. It is a great value for the price and under $30 really hits the spot. It is easy to assemble and the instructions are super easy to follow. I have 2 27" curved monitors I am using with it and it is VERY STURDY - NO SHAKING. 5 STARS!!! Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly. I clearly specify why any stars were removed, since what bothered me might not mean anything to another purchaser.

A well made and functional dual monitor mount
This turned out to be a great solution for my dual-monitor set up, giving me some more height for my monitors and space back on my desk. I'll focus on the two primary questions I had going into my purchase for any of those who have similar questions as they're considering these: 1. This mount uses a single bracket for the height of BOTH monitors, how will it work with slightly different monitor models? - There is a height adjustment screw on each monitor bracket to allow you to adjust them up, but it only goes about 1/4". For me, this wasn't tall enough to properly line up my monitors, but adding a washer to the adjustment screw got me close enough to the height I needed. Additional washers for height is not possible or else your monitor will not be properly fastened in place. If you need more than 1/2" of vertical adjustment between your left/right monitors, this is not the mount for you. 2. How close far back will this mount allow me to put my monitors on my desk, against a wall? With my setup (mount offset so a main monitor can be centered, 24" monitors) my centered monitor is about 4" from my back wall, and my desk about 3" from the back wall as well. Due to the single mount and angles of movement for the arms, you're going to have to have your desk a few inches from your wall in order to get your mounts close to the back edge of your desk. You can see in my photos how the arms of this mount naturally angle BACK from the mount in order to get 24" monitors next to one another. You may be able to get things closer with larger monitors. 3. Is this thing really as sturdy as everyone says? Yes. This mount is incredibly sturdy and doesn't move in the slightest under normal desk use. The ONLY issue with this mount is the point where the VESA brackets attach to the arms. Due to how this is designed, there is about 1/8-1/4" of play for rotating the monitors, so it can be very easy to accidentally knock them off of being level horizontally/vertically. This turned out to not be as much of an issue as I initially thought, but it's definitely my biggest complaint about this mounting solution. 4. How easily can you move a monitor forward and backward? When I'm using my office for work I like to have as much desk space as possible and my monitors back on my desk. When gaming, I prefer to have my monitors much closer to my keyboard. For some reason it's very easy to move my center monitor forward and backward, but my offset one is significantly more difficult (i actually have to reach around to the back and move the arm as I need - i think this is because of the angles I have the arms at. I can live with that and it's not a major complaint. In short, this is an excellent mount for the price. My minor gripes are easily overlooked by the overall quality and price of this dual monitor mount. I recommend for anyone looking for a cheap and effective mounting solution, but have caution if you use different models of monitors and want to have them be perfectly level.

Excellent value from a truly excellent company
The Vivo Dual Monitor Desk Mount is a very good value. It's well-constructed, solid, sturdy, attractive, and mostly functional, with one exception I describe below. It comes very intelligently packaged in what seems to be an impossibly small box that's somehow bigger on the inside than on the outside. Amazingly, despite the very compact packaging, assembly and installation are a breeze, and the provided instructions are both thorough and clear. Most importantly, Vivo is an extraordinarily customer-focused company. Their pre- and post-sales support has proven to be beyond expectations and so far beyond the norm these days that they are a major outlier in a good way. Their phone and email support agents are singularly knowledgeable about their products and are both empowered and driven to help the customer. When I needed some technical measurements, they researched and got back to me promptly. When I had a part that wasn't working properly, they replaced it under the warranty without fuss or hassle. I can't say enough good about the company's front-line people and their overall business culture. The negatives I've found are related to the joints. Because the joints are designed with simple claws tightened by hex-nuts, they do tend to migrate under heavy load. As others have noted here, over time, my larger monitor tends to tilt downward on its own, even though I've tightened the hex-nut as firmly as I possibly can. It's also inconvenient to have to maneuver a hex wrench behind the stand to loosen the hex-nuts when adjustments are needed, particularly for the nuts that end up on the inside angle of a joint. A better design of the joints using indentations or rough surfaces on the insides and handles on the outsides, but perhaps that would be too much to ask at this price point. Another small issue is that the joint responsible for rotation is entirely free, with no tightening nuts or indentations, so my monitors do tend to rotate especially if my webcam on top is off to one side. I've solved that by wedging a small speaker under the monitor to keep it from spinning, but again a small redesign of the joints would be an improvement. If you plan to move your monitors and will require frequent adjustments in height or placement, then perhaps this isn't the stand for you. But if you'll be positioning your monitors and leaving them in place, then this stand comes at a great value for money. One note regarding size: When deciding whether this mount will fit your setup, consider whether you may need to bed the arms at their midpoints to position the monitors where you want them, and if you do, that might place the "elbows" extending a bit behind the back edge of your desk. Make sure you won't hit a wall. I've coupled this stand with one of Vivo's riser desks, where there's a perfectly sized (and perfectly placed) hole for installing the stand. It mates perfectly, and it looks great. If you don't have a grommet hole in your desk, the stand also comes with a very solid clamp-type desk mount. FIVE HUGE STARS for Vivo and their products, and FOUR AND A HALF STARS (rounded to five) for this particular mount.

Works well - bit of a pain to align
I bought these to tidy up my workspace and mount two 27inch monitors side by side. Overall, it’s a great product, especially for the price. The stand is sturdy, well-made, and feels secure once everything is tightened. Installation is straightforward, and the base provides good stability even with larger monitors. The arms offer a wide range of motion—tilt, swivel, and height adjustments—so getting the monitors roughly where you want them is easy. The only challenge is aligning the two monitors perfectly. It takes a bit of patience and fine-tuning, and once you get them aligned exactly how you want, don’t touch them, because even a small adjustment can throw the alignment off again. It frees up a lot of space compared to using two individual monitor stands, which is a huge bonus. For the price, it’s honestly excellent. You get a solid, functional dual-monitor setup without spending a fortune, and once it’s dialed in, it works really well.

Great Mount, great price. Extremely sturdy. Would buy again.
VIVO Dual LCD LED Monitor Desk Mount Stand There is a reason this has a #1 Best Seller flag on it. Its extremely good for what you are paying for it. I wanted to get my desk cleared off and was seriously thinking about getting a second monitor to use. I came across this on amazon and decided to give it a try. I had read through a lot of the reviews. Most of them were good to excellent and some were not. I was hoping my experience was going to be better than some of theirs. The first thing I noticed when i received this mount was just how heavy the boxes containing it were. I was expecting some heft. I mean this has to support two monitor up to 27 inches each, but it was heavier than I was anticipating. I found most of the parts inside wrapped in plastic and in good condition. I followed the instructions and did not have any problem assembling this item. You attach the clamp to the post first, then mount that part on your desk where you want it. The clamp seems plenty strong enough to hold it. Just make sure your desk is strong enough. I have a all steel tanker desk so it was not problem for me. If you have a thin top you might want to think about placing a piece of wood under the desk in the clamp to help distribute the weight of the monitors. I would not mount this too glass at all. That might be a common sense thing, but just a warning. After mounting the clamp/pole to the desk, you will want to place the vesa mounts on the monitors. This kit came with handy thumbscrews just for this, and they worked great. I did not need any special adapters for my monitors, both were 100x100 vesa mount compatible and the plates fit it perfectly. The mounts attached to the monitors will slide onto the plate on the post. This also worked great for me. No issue. Once you get the monitors on the arms, there is a tiny screw cap for the back to make sure the monitors stay on the arms. I will not be rotating my so this isn't an issue, but I put them there anyways. The post does have height adjustment, do not do this with the monitors on the arms. Take them off then adjust the post. Put them back on and repeat as necessary until where you want them. I saw some reviewers talking about how they could not keep the monitors level. I am going to guess that they have faulty kits. I have no problem here. The joint that allows the monitor to rotate seem nice and tight, but also easily movable if I wanted them too. The tilt of the monitor can be adjust up or down and then tighten with the included allen wrench. I am sporting a 24 inch monitor on the left and a 27 inch monitor on the right with absolutely no physical problems. The multiple points of articulation in the arms made moving my monitors around a breeze. They stay where I put them too. There are hooks for cable management which do help a lot in keeping a clean look. I could only use some of it because of a short power cord and dvi cable. You can see from the photos that the post is leaning forward ever so slightly. It does not seem to be going any further and it is extremely stable. One thing I can highly recommend is an Aukey LED gooseneck clamp light. It will clamp right to one of the arms and reaches over the monitors. It provides good light and runs off USB power. It looks like it belongs with the mount. I could not be happier with how that turned out. I am completely satisfied with this mount. I love it. I recommend it to anybody who needs to get their monitors off the desk and more at eye level. Beyond amazing for the price. If you don't need independent height adjustment, it's excellent.
VIVO Dual Monitor Desk Mount: If someone had told me two days ago that you could get a reasonable quality dual monitor mount for anywhere near this price, I would have immediately discounted everything else they said as questionable. I would have been wrong. I'm rarely compelled to immediately write a review on something, but this thing is good under normal circumstances and amazing for the price. I've been working in IT for almost 30 years. I've come across many monitor stands, mounts, and armatures. For what it was designed for, it does quite well. The construction seems solid. The first thing I did was mount a slightly older Benq 3-D gaming display. It's pretty heavy for a 24" display. Even with only the single monitor swung far to one side, there are no issues with the stand. The height adjustment held firm and there's no noticeable lean, etc. The tension on the joints is appropriate. It holds the monitor in place in all axis, yet is still easy to adjust. - Height adjustment requires using an allen wrench (supplied) to loosen the compression on the center post. This may be a bit fiddly once two monitors are mounted as you'll have to hold their weight during adjustment. The monitor heights cannot be adjusted independently. - Without tools the monitors can be adjusted laterally as well as pivoted and rotated to support landscape and portrait orientations. The assembly is easy and the necessary tools are supplied. Basic cable management is supplied.

Great product, even better service.
Bottom line up front: Mine is sturdy, it works fine, and I'll purchase again soon. Go on if you care to know why. . . for some reason. I purchased mine based solely on soonest delivery date. Often when I do this, I am let down. I received my item actually sooner than expected. Then I was let down. I appeared to be missing a few seemingly minor parts but parts all the same. Lost in shipping, a regional return-and-replace, maybe? I cpontacted the company, they asked me what I needed. They offerred a full replacement. Not a swap, not take the rest of the fool thing apart, but an actual replacement. The entire thing. Putting cost aside, I was truly surprised with the speed with which they responded, and the enthusiasm exhibited when making it right. Seems silly to say so, but the service is as good as the product. It's easy to assemble, won't mar your surfaces, and doesn't shake all over everytime you hit your desk because the Cowboys lost again. Where was I? Great product, even better service. Hey, there's a title! Thank you all

A Huge Upgrade for My Desk Setup
The VIVO Dual Monitor Desk Mount was a great upgrade for my workspace. It freed up a lot of desk space right away and made my setup look much cleaner and more organized. The arms feel sturdy, hold both monitors securely, and make it easy to adjust the height and angle for a much better viewing position. Installation was easier than I expected, and once everything was in place, the difference in comfort was immediate. It’s perfect for creating a more ergonomic setup and makes working with two screens much more efficient. Excellent value and very well made.

Not bad for the price. Quality is questionable in areas, but the price is acceptable.

Great product!
I LOVE this product! It’s everything the vendor claimed. FEATURES. The construction is solid. There’s no evidence of corner-cutting in its manufacture. The design is attractive, clean and 100% functional. The cable-management system gives the finished installation a very tidy and uncluttered look. The product was very well packaged. Among the supplied parts are 8 bolts (M4 x 12) for mounting 2 flat-back monitors, 8 bolts (M4 x 30) and 8 spacers for mounting 2 curved-back monitors, 16 M4 washers, 2 spare plastic cap covers, a wrench and an Allen key. The only necessary tool not supplied was a Phillips #2 screwdriver (if you don’t own one, you can buy one at any hardware store for a few bucks). The assembly instructions were simple and clear, and they made use of WORDS as well as pictures (Take note, IKEA!). BENEFITS. It allowed me to reclaim several square feet of space on my desk. The product is exceptionally sturdy, and once adjusted and tightened, the monitors maintain their positions on the arm. TIP: When I assembled my stand, I attached the post to my desk first, as per the instructions. I then laid my monitors face down on a bed and attached them to the already-assembled arm. I then enlisted the aid of my son because I thought I needed someone to hold the monitor-laden arm steady to prevent it from sliding down the post before I could tighten the mounting bolt. However, when we slipped the arm onto the post, it didn’t slide down the post as expected. In fact, it moved up and down the post ONLY when we deliberately held the arm in a perfectly horizontal position. Otherwise, the weight of the monitors angled the arm forward causing the arm to grab the post, making it possible for one person to assemble and install the product. I mounted two Dell 23-inch E2314H monitors to the stand. After a bit of adjusting, I completely closed the gap between the monitors. I don’t often write such detailed reviews of products, but I’ve done so in this case because I recommend this product without reservation. Plus, the price can’t be beat. It’s worth every penny I paid for it. Great value!
