Excellent kitchen spoons; just what I wanted
These oversized tablespoons are great in the kitchen for pan basting, for use as tasting spoons & for mixing and drizzling; not flimsy, and not too heavy. Perfect. (As mentioned in some of the other reviews, they are a bit too large for dining.) Update: started using these for dining as well, and have to reverse my previous comment; these also make for wonderful soup spoons. Wouldn't have any other now.

The Size Is HUGE- but I sort of like it.
I thought people were exaggerating when it came to the size of the bowl, then I got them. I've attached a photo with a US quarter in it so you have an idea of the size. I thought my chowder spoons were big. These are bigger. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. They have a nice weight and a nice balance, but they definitely are better as serving spoons for the Tuesday taco bar than for scooping out some instant coffee for a single serving... unless you're really tired. That said, it will help my teen shovel cereal into his mouth in half the time.

These things are HUGE
These spoons are rather large... like, open wide and make sure your cheeks aren't in the way large. I didn't realize how huge they were, thinking I had purchased regular soup/table spoons. I would describe these spoons, which are great quality and very sturdy, as small ladles or mini shovels. I think I actually could use them to dig up a flower bed. Great if you're looking for larger spoons. Not so great for kids.

Slightly larger than tablespoons, and that's perfect for me
Some people have complained that these spoons are too big. Well, they are advertised as "extra-large tablespoons", which means they hold a bit more food, and that is exactly what I wanted. 5 stars
