Box sweet box.

Boxes are decent and well made. However, they are 95mm not 100mm which is what I measured for. I will have to adapt from my original plan. That is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

These are nice project boxes. Not expensive but the fit and finish is very good. The lids snap on/off with a screw driver. (Garage opener style) I wish they made a few more sizes, I got the 100x60mm model.

Bought these to house a ultrasonic HC-SR04 distance sensor and it fits nicely (snug), it's a bit snug and if you are good with a Dremel you can cut out holes for the sensor and one for the wires. Just need to bend the header pins on the sensor back over the board and use Dupont wires to connect.

I bought these specifically to house Aqara door sensors so I could use them on outdoor gates as part of my smart home setup, and they’ve worked exactly as I hoped. The size is pretty much spot on for this purpose. The Aqara sensor fits neatly inside with just enough room to position it properly, and once closed it looks clean and discreet rather than like a random electronics experiment stuck to a gate. The ABS plastic feels solid for its size and should handle outdoor use fine when mounted in a reasonably sheltered spot. I really like the snap-together design. No screws means no fiddling around when you’re doing multiple installs, and it makes battery changes much quicker than I expected. For a pack of ten, the consistency is good too, all the boxes line up properly and close securely. These are obviously not weatherproof on their own, but for DIY projects like sensor enclosures, small electronics, or junction boxes, they’re excellent value. In my case, they’ve turned indoor-only sensors into something I can confidently deploy outside on gates without them looking ugly or exposed. If you’re into smart home tinkering or small electronics projects, this is one of those boring but very satisfying purchases that just quietly solves a problem.
