Samurai Shodown - PlayStation 4

Its one of the best version of samurai showdown

Samurai Showdown has a long rich history in the fighting genre. With a roster of 16 characters, you have a diverse group of fighters with long and short range attacks. What is unique about this game compared to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat is how the game is crafted into a masterpiece. Pros: -The amazing graphic -The beautiful story mode -Online play is smooth and no lag so far -Free DLC characters, if purchase within first week of game release Cons: - The Boss fight in Story Mode - Some historical characters are missing - The pace is slow - The commands are very technical and may not be suitable for casual gamers.

As someone who spent hours in the arcade playing Samurai Shodown 2 this game is an absolute treat! The music, art style, and gameplay make for a fantastic experience. While some classic characters are missing, the season pass is free (at the time of this review 7/2/19) which guarantees more characters to come. This is a great technical fighter that has some real nuance especially in the defense side. This game is a must for any fan of the series and a good game for any fan of the fighting genre.

Great for friends or on-line play. Not much for single play.. Unless I missed something the few times I’ve checked it out. I was a fan of the first installment in the Arcades as a child.. Nice to see the game is still around.

Samurai Showdown for PS4 is incredible! The graphics are the best I have ever seen! I wish I bought this game sooner. It's worth every penny.

😁

Anyone who was old enough to be playing video games in the 1990s remembers Samurai Shodown. It was a fighting game that had something unique to offer even while the Street Fighter franchise was immensely popular. This up-to-date remake of Samurai Shodown has the feel of the classic, yet looks fantastic. This one is currently my favorite fighting game on PS4.

This was supposed to be a birthday gift for my dad, but the disk came cracked and scratched. It was rattling around in the case. Im also not 100% sure that the disk is supposed to say “the Chinese connection”; I’m doubting it’s authenticity.

This takes me back to my youth days where I would sometimes skip class to play this at the local Beckers variety store which had this beauty directly when you enter the store. I have so many memories playing Samurai Showdown it’s still a great and unique fighting game to this day. Much like Soul Calibur is right now. The game is at a decent price right now if you like fighting games and have never played this one definitely give it a shot. It’s an instant classic! The soundtrack and SFX are great as well.

👍

XD

Product came in excellent condition. It has been a long time since the last Samurai Showdown game. This game is truly worth the wait!!
