Colin Cowie's Wedding Planner & Keepsake Organizer: The Essential Guide To Planning The Ultimate Wedding

This item typically sells for around $40 at Barnes and Noble. I know this because I purchased it as a gift for a friend a while back. I had my eye on this for a while so I decided to purchase it for myself and realized I didn't want to spend another $40 on this so the $14 price for this version was great. It has all the content of the $40 version, but it didn't come with the keepsake box that it usually would since this the binder, and that is okay. It still had all the information you would need from advice, to a timeline, even to seating chart arrangements. The organizer/binder also has a pouch at the very back for you to keep receipts/brochers, etc. There is also a business card holder at the back, but not sure if it's made for traditional-sized business cards. They are too small of pockets so I have to cut the business card in order to slide it in. Also, the calendar provided doesn't seem to correlate with 2013 or 2014. Can't really use it to record appointments or dates of contact with vendors, but really... with smartphones, who needs a paper calendar anymore?Overall, for the cost, this is a pretty great organizer. It's really nice to have, and it's big but not bulky. I would purchase this again if I had to and would recommend it for my friends as well.

This wedding planner is tasteful and there are a lot of detailed information that one cannot find it other wedding books. I am not the most organized person so I especially love the little pockets it has for one to put in magazine clips, swatches, name cards etc so you have everything in one book when you go to talk to your bridesmaids, photographer, wedding planners etc.It really helped me organize for my overseas wedding and also served as a wonderful keepsake as I put many of the magazine clips, trial photos, menus etc there and it gives me great memories when thinking about all the time, effort and stress I went through when planning my wedding.

This book had everything in it including: questions to ask vendors, places to keep vendor information, seating arrangement charts, and lots of tips and ideas. It was a bit wordy and I wish there were pages inside that you could use to place photos or magazine cut-outs of ideas--there was only places to write them down on a lined surface. All-in-all, I would recommend this one. I spent a lot of time researching wedding planners and this one was my favorite!

Was ok. Nothing new that you couldn’t find elsewhere free

Very nice book for bride to organize her wedding. Thick cover....great size.....not too big....not too small. Our future daughter-in-law loved it!

Great Value! Cost less than half of what it was listed for on other sites. Very attractive and keeps everything organized. My daughter, the bride-to-be loves it and I love the value. Thanks.

My best friend loved this for her wedding

Helpful in planning a wedding! Helps you with organization and planning. Help you to stress a lot less. Must have

Expected more from this book..

There is lots if information I regards to what to think of while planning your wedding. I was looking more for a book to help me organize my information ( I have most everything planned out already when I purchased the book). It does have organizers in it, not as much as I was hoping for but still very adequate. I would have liked to have a better selection of dividers/labels maybe some blank ones for sections not included in the book like entertainment or misc services (rentals). It does have some great tips to think about. There is lots of reading in it.The book is also a good quality (durable), not super fancy or frilly. Also other than a spot for the photo in the front there is nothing else very keep sake about it unless you want to keep your contact info for your wedding services and guest list. I would have been upset with what i got if I paid the full suggested retail price for it. But for what I paid for I am content with what I got.

The box is not worth the exclusive edition. I find that most wedding planning books are just empty pages with holes punched in them but this was the worst one by far. There are not a lot of photos and he doesn't give you many ideas at all. I got this for my best friend as soon as she got engaged and I prefaced it with "I got you a gift but it sucks."
