My nervous dog loved it right away. I had no idea how much he would love it. I put him in it and he calms down immediately. It is a great product for the both of us! Even though I got the breathable one, it does still get hot on hot days. I do live in the desert though, so I just have to keep checking him to make sure. Also, I do still keep my attention on him because he likes to hang out of it sometimes and in a stimulating environment, he can squirm around the clip. Mostly though, he settles down. It is an amazing product.

This is my second one because I needed to keep it in both cars. It is so convenient and comfortable to carry my 10 pound Chihuahua. There is a pocket on it where I carry my phone too. The mesh is soft and washable. I would highly recommend.

I should have gotten my dog used to being carried in a sling from the time she was a pup...Unfortunately, I'm starting the process now (She's five). The first similar product I purchased was way too hot, but she seems very comfortable in this brand's design once she is in... I'm using this for transporting her on errands and during travel. With lots of patience, positive reinforcement and treats, she's been warming up to it. Peaches is a 14 lb Morkie, who is a little plump, and this fits her great with room to spare. I added a blanket in the bottom for added comfort, and I can secure her with the attached clip. The "mesh" fabric option is very stretchy, and sags too low with my dog's weight. Also, the tiny silver dog-tag ring of her collar easily gets stuck in the small holes of the mesh - VERY dangerous. After discovering this was happening, I made sure to check her often to make sure she could still freely move her neck. A star was deducted in this review because of these two things. Still, I may purchase a different fabric later, because I still like the overall design.

Pros: large size Pocket - holds my iPhone XR easily Mesh is breathable Very sturdy Pretty comfy/well padded strap Highly adjustable strap Cons: Large size Little support/shapeless I bought this for my aging dog to keep her with me but it was too large (mini dachshund), as there’s no built in structure or cut out for the neck it was like I put her in a sack and poking her head out would basically choke her. We also have a larger dog (standard dachshund 20lbs) who is very nervous and reactive. He’s afraid of many things and needs to be held to feel better. So I tried this bag with him and he loved it! It’s still a sack and would still choke him if he didn’t keep his arm out but if he likes it I’m not arguing with him about it. After just three uses he recognizes his bag and crawls into it when I put it on. If a dog is large enough to fit this bag it’s likely a bit heavy for a cross body. Also keeping the dog more horizontal is difficult due to its shapeless nature, and it’s not good to have dachshunds upright but for us if it prevents him from having a panic attack it’s worth it for short term use. Over all it’s good, works well for us, wish it had a proper neck cut out so it wouldn’t press so much on their throats and was easier to keep horizontal. Definitely worth a try if you have a reactive dog and don’t plan on using this all the time.

*this is an amazing seller!! Although the item did not work out for me, this was extremely gracious and refunded my money! The bag is a great size and easily accommodates my 15lb morkie. However, the chemical smell coming off the bag is retched. I have now washed and dried this bag 3x in steaming hot water and I can’t get rid of the smell. I don’t know what else to do. My dog had just had surgery and i needed it to transport him in the car. I wrapped him in a blanket so he wouldn’t touch the bag, but the bag is useless with that smell. It’s a really harsh chemical smell.

Product is mesh for breathability, yet somehow very soft. The padding on the shoulders is perfect and the pocket is large enough to hold keys, baggies and a small purse. The opening is quite wide, wider than my previous sling so a harness is a must. My only complaint is it came with a blemish/soiled area on the pocket that doesn't look like it will come out.

I live in a warm climate so I've been searching high and low for a breathable pet sling to take my dog on errands with me. I love the breathable version of this sling! (I only wish it were another color, the gray isn't the Cutest ;) but it's worth it. Very well made. I love the pocket for my phone and cards. The strap is padded and extremely comfortable. It is two layers of fabric which still felt too warm for my dog, so I cut the inner layer of fabric out and hemmed the edges...I now have the perfect thin sling. She can hide all the way down in it and after cutting inner layer of fabric out, she can see out perfectly but no one can see in. I must qualify, I wouldn't recommend cutting inner layer out if your dog is more that 5 or 6 lbs, as the seams might rip with the weight. But if you have a tiny dog like my 5 lb toy poodle this works great with one layer of fabric. I take her everywhere with me in this bag. I want every color!

Bulky, useless. Should have returned it.
