Beware that when they come they already have eight radial cuts (at 45 degrees from the next door cuts) from the central hole - those cuts are not visible on the photo. You will probably then have to trim the protectors further in order to accommodate your particular gas burners. However because there are now essentially eight flaps/burner, it is very easy for one or other to end up getting burned, or interfering with the safety cutout devices that turn the gas off if there's no flame. It's a good idea though it would need a lot of personalisation in order to fit them properly, and a bit of dedication to ensure that the right protector stays matched with the right burner.

Only had 4 in the pack, but I have a 5 burner hob. You have to cut them to size . They look untidy on the hob. Would have been better if it fitted across 2 burners in one piece , rather than 4 separate peices. Does the job however, keeps your hob clean.
