it scratches easily but it’s good for what it is. I already had a scratch and I just opened it for 30 mins. If you are more careful than me, it’ll work for you. I wouldn’t mind it as much if I dog liked it. He spend most of the time facing the side or the back. The purpose of the purchase didn’t even work for me. I gave it a 4 stars bc it felt very sturdy and decent size room. Minus one for being so easily scratched. I still liked it but my dog doesn’t so I’m returning it.

My 8 lb cat hates going in her regular style carrier, I have to trick her into going inside with treats. With this carrier, putting my cat inside takes about 30 seconds. And the backpack straps are comfortable and sturdy.To get her accustomed to the carrier, I opened the expandable back and left the small side door open. To my suprise, she actually uses this carrier as her favorite nap spot! The expandable back makes road trips a little bit more tolerable since she can stand up and turn around. If you have a small cat, this would be the ideal carrier! The only qualm I have about this is the zippers can stick a bit.

Would of given 5 stars if it was easier to wash or the zipper to extend the bag was on the outside instead of inside the bag with the cat. Beyond that I use this bag for my cat anytime I can. She loves getting in because it means easier walk to the park and a view of the world. This bag is also a great topic of the party anywhere you go.

I loved it. We took our cat for a walk along woth our puppy for the first time in years. She was super happy. Although it seems that she needs more space to comfortably lay down while in the backpack. She is not a big or chubby cat per se and still when she lies down ( which is inevitable) she s pressed against the transparent cover. Also, our backpack arrived with the platic cover pressed inside , which ai thought was broken. I pushed it back but the cracks are visible. Living out of US it was not worth / cost effective to return it.

I strongly advise against buying this product. It looks nearly identical to another one I own but this is clearly a poorly constructed imitation. I don't even know where to start. There is an orange plastic threaded ring that holds the small bubble in place, it is so poorly crafted I would call this product defective. The ring is very fragile and isn't even completely circular. I spent ten minutes trying to line up the threads to complete the assembly and then noticed the plastic bubble is permanently scuffed from the light handling. The bubble plastic is thin and weak, the zipper is difficult, and the backpack does not stand upright when placed on a flat surface. It also comes coated in a thin plastic film (to prevent scuffing, of course) but the film is sewn into all the edges so i never completely comes off. Did I mention it took 4 weeks to arrive? Please don't buy this.
