Sulfate-free, moisturizing, and protects colored hair.
I lighten my dark blonde, curly hair, which makes it very dry and damage prone. I ordered this shampoo because it’s sulfate-free, which is recommended for keeping color looking fresh and shiny. I was worried about the shampoo making my hair feel like straw, but it doesn’t. It feels very moisturizing as I’m washing and so far, it does seem to help keep my lighter blonde color from turning brassy, dull, and practically tangle-free while wet for easy combing. I ordered the matching conditioner, too. The scent of the shampoo is ok. Not amazing but not terrible. The conditioner smells better. Very nice scent. Reminiscent of the old Apple Pectin scent. So far, so good. I would recommend and buy again.

Best Color Saving Conditioner on a Budget
I have been using this conditioner alongside the shampoo for 4 years now to help maintain my dyes ginger hair. It works great, I always get comments on how great my hair smells and it continues to remain soft and colorful. This bottle lasts me about 3-4 months and is cheaper on Amazon than all other retailers.

i have been using this product for years! its a bit more expensive, but seems to keep the hair dye color locked in for a longer time than the cheaper brands. hopefully it will continue to be available and not subject to tariffs and taxes as so many products are these days!!

Great Conditioner for Soft, Vibrant Hair
This is the best conditioner I've ever used. My hair has never been softer or felt healthier. You don't have to use much. I also feel like it keeps my hair color looking vibrant for longer. One bottle lasts me over a month (I usually wash and condition my hair daily), so it's definitely worth the price.
