I am looking for something hot enough to engrave the bottom of turned bowls with initials and dates. Would this do the job

Hello there ! yes it would do the job if you file the bit to make it thinner. Make sure not to leave it on more than 5 minutes hanging with the hot bit down because the handle gets very hot, tends to melt, and then the central bit moves till the iron is unplugged.

What is the diameter of the soldering tip at the base (its largest diameter)? Also, are replacement available for purchase?

The soldering tip is approximately 7.93mm (largest diameter) we have replacement tips for this iron and also have angled tips.https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01ECHFS7Q https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01ECK39A6

trying to buy the soldering iron, but when entering my delivery address it says its not deliverable to my address? I live in Somerset UK

I'm not sure why. Its an Amazon thing I guess. You can always call Antex directly. Our address is on our website if you google antex

Do you have any tips with a shank of 10mm?

Our largest shaft outside diameter is 8mm
