can I keep this in the car or on a boat? live in Florida so can be hit.

You can keep this in a car, you can keep this near or far, you can keep this in a boat, fall in the water it should float, tuck it in your underwear, you can keep this anywhere.

Why is Amazon blocking a sale to a Florida address?

Don't know, because I received mine in Fl. A year and 1/2 ago.

That is the distance it will travel?

I believe the max distance is 12-15 Ft

I ordered this and only got one not three, why?

Depends on what your ordered and price you paid. They are about 32.00 each
