THIS STUFF IS AMAZINGGGG for my picky lil guy. the only brand that got my sweet boy off kibble! i had been trying to get him off kibble since he was a kitty, and it has been very difficult to switch him over with any of the brands i’d get from stores. he was not interested in anything, and i tried multiple brands/flavors. spent 30$ on the tiki afterdark as a last resort, because it was getting exhausting trying to get him to eat anything but kibble. to my absolute surprise, he immediately loved it. he has been eating it for about 2 months now, and even though he used to not eat anything sea food, he LOVES this stuff. he seems to be a bigger fan of this sea food one than the chicken afterdark as well. 10/10. he loves it, and i love it for him. if you have picky cats, i seriously suggest giving tiki a try!!!

Both cats like each flavor. Only complaint is the size - itty bitty cans and they are asking for food within hours.

So this is extremely healthy for cats, and it’s very natural. It actually looks how you’d expect it too, and smell that way too. The smell doesn’t bother me or the cats at all. Smells like seafood. I think the tuna is the highest quality ones compared to the sardines/mackerels. Every can is good, I split one between two cats. However I do NOT like the sardine cans. I’d say 6/10 times, the sardines/mackerels come with a BUNCH of bones and scales, which I feel like is a safety hazard for our kitties. I often have to pick out the bones. And the can I got tonight is what inspired me to write a review. Because great! You know it’s all natural! But I also had a bon head in the mix of the can, among a spine (common), and some random bones and scales. They are the worst cans to me. All the other ones are quality, but these ones are pretty bad. I feel like they need to filter it better somehow to avoid getting bones in there. However I do understand that’s how they get chunks of the sardines; but there has to be a better way to debone them. The cats will eat it, but pick out the scales, and one can the cat didn’t eat at all and I think it’s because one of the bones might have stabbed his mouth, since he barely touched the bowl yet ate just fine later. Overall, very healthy for cats, and I’d get this set again and again. Maybe find a tuna-only back. The sardines really set it apart for me to rate it three stars :/ I get this and then the chicken. I love Tikki Cat - it’s really healthy and hydrates your feline. It’s the sardine cans are low quality IMO and a hazard.

Until they didn't. I'm not sure what happened. I purchased this several times and they were so chatty while I was scooping it out and they dug in when I laid it down for them. Then this last order, they turned their nose up and walked away. I went to PetSmart and got a few other varieties of Tiki Cat but they really didn't like the others and the ones that have pumpkin in them gave my boy the poops. They are super finicky, so I'm not blaming Tiki Cat. I've only had them 6 months and this has been a constant battle. I was shocked seeing REALY pieces of fish and calamari in the cans. Stinkin' cats eat better than we do! Spoiled little brats! LOL But I love 'em. ♥

Picky cat approved! Four paws Up! Edit: I have this on a subscription so I get deliveries regularly. I received a delivery that was SMASHED in the process and the UPS man's truck smelled of dead fish. Amazon replaced it in less than 24 hours - no questions asked. So five stars from my cat for the cat food, and an extra five stars from me for great customer service from Amazon!
