Went thru 2 submersible Everbilt pumps from HD in the last year. I put in a Alpine 5120 a year ago and it still runs like new. I recently added a second pump Alpine 8000. Very impressed! I have these installed in this black pump vault. I'm guessing about 10' of head to outlet. The 5120 has about 10' of head discharging into the bronze colored 55 gallon barrel pumped into the bottom and filtering back up thru rock for filtration.

We bought this pump in 2018 and have run it 24/7 year around, even through -20 degree weather, pond froze over... Coming home from a vacation and the pond was extremely low and it kept running... It finally gave out in 2025 and I told my wife to get another one here pronto... I can not say enough about this pump.... Our 2 way waterfall is 10 ft high and it handles it great. Im gonna look for a replacement Impeller for a backup on our old pump...

I purchased this pump in July of 2022 and started having issues with it beginning August of 2025, it worked 24/7 for 3 years with no problem prior. I reached out to the customer service and they honored their 5 year warranty with a minimum of hassle. I provided them with photos and a short video of the issue I was having (pump was working at 1/4 power) and they replaced it without cost to me and only asked that I pay half of the shipping fee which I felt was more than fair. They responded on a Saturday to my initial message within an hour and responded promptly from there on out. Great company that stands behind their product!

I have bought 2 of these Alpine pumps (a 6500 and a 8000) for a small pond with 2 water features at my home. After a year, the 6500 stopped working. I called Alpine's Customer Service Department and explained my problem. First, let me say that a HUMAN BEING actually answered the phone. Second, the HUMAN BEING took aggressive action to satisfy me without being prompted to do so...EXTRAORDINARY!! I was asked to take some pictures of my non-functioning 6500 and send them to customer service for review. I was called the next day...WAIT...did you hear that? They called me...REALLY! I was advised that I was being shipped a NEW pump to replace my broken one. 2 days later my new pump arrived and has been working perfectly ever since (3 months now). There are cheaper pumps on Amazon, but I cannot believe that any other company would be able to match the incredible level of personalized customer support that Alpine did. I am a Pastor, and this company is one that I have been praying for! Thank you Alpine for being a company that says what they will do and then does what they say they will do! This pump was used to lower the level of my pond. My observation is that this pump moves the amount that company claims it does. The only problem I had was with the thin plastic 2" drain hose, on startup if thin hose is not stretched strait a slight kink can occur and blow hole in hose. I like this pump and would buy again.

I bought this in 2020 and in 2022 it completely seized up (three seasons). (6 month seasons) If you buy this pump, I suggest you have a regular maintenance routine if your pond or waterfall has debris and well water. If this is running in a completely clean, filtered water system then it is a great pump. Leaves, sticks and other items will clog this pump up quick and your motor will eventually seize up. We have a high metal content well water and it slowly builds up around the inner parts. Not the error of the pump exactly. I had to take it apart often and had take a wire bristle brush on my drill to clean it. I did that 3-4 times a season. You will need to have other filters around this pump to slow the process down from the leaves and sticks. Plan on adding another layer of filtering around the pump to keep the larger debris from building up around the intake housing. If you are the type of person that likes to do nothing and expect things to keep working at peak performance than hire someone to maintain your stuff! Any pump requires some bit of effort. Once you take it apart once, it becomes second nature and quicker each time.

Pal 8000 gph pond pump Strong, quite and the best bang for the buck ! I have installed many Alpine cyclone pump in various gph, the pump delivers better than expected performance . But the best part is the the first class customer support. I recently had the need to contact Alpine Customer Service, the response fast and the representative was very friendly and fast to take action. The whole process was amazing 10 out of 10. I have been put through the hoops with other companies trying to to get any support. Not the with Alpine, they really set the bar high . You can't go wrong with this choice .

I purchased this item nearly two years ago actually, in April of 2024. It carries a 3 year warranty but after reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about the support. Now, some would say that the pump should not die this quickly in any case but that is for a different review for a different day. My pump went out last Thursday. I contacted Alpine Support and they answered and sent a warranty questionnaire the same day. I filled out the questionnaire, provided the requested information and pictures and they said they would get back to me. They contacted me the next day indicating that they would send me a new pump and all I was required to do was pay the $40.00 for shipping. The new pump arrived on Wednesday and I am back in action!

Bonne pompe pour le prix. Fait bien le travail pour mon étang de 9000 gallons. Reste à souhaité quelle seras durable.

Bought the Alpine PAL8000 to replace a TW6000 Atalantic Ponds model that had served me for 11 years. Pump motor looks identical and pump/impellor very similar so hope for same long life. Woul have given 5 stars but (1) found the impelllor screen is easy to fall off when setting pump if not careful (no locking mechanism, just push on friction fit), and (2) despite the pump curves being comparable at 2- feet head the flow is a little less than the TW pump. However the pricing was good so think is a good value.
