Large Metal Hoop for Creative PFAFF Embroidery Machine 240x150mm

The Snap-Hoop works well for the cotton muslin-plus-Marathon Washaway/Tearaway stabilizer I am currently working with. It uses less stabilizer than the hoops that came with my Singer CE-250. It makes hooping so much easier that I am actually enjoying my machine more. Let's face it, hooping can be a real pain, so I was eager to try this and watched several YouTube videos about it.Alas, I was rather dismayed when I opened the box and found the hoops accompanied by some rather crumpled adhesive ruler strips, which you have to stick on the hoops yourself. For $150, you'd think the manufacturer could do this for you, and the crumpled and folded condition of the strips I received makes me think this was a return, for which I paid full price. If this is how the manufacturer is shipping NEW strips, then Snap-Hoop has a management problem. There were no instructions included to assist you in attaching these strips accurately, so I didn't attach them at all, especially since they were crumpled and folded, so without the guidelines on the rulers, I am not really getting the best use of the product. I really wanted to love my Snap-Hoop because it was so expensive, but I'm only giving it three stars due to the condition. I probably should have returned it and hoped to get a nice new one like I paid for, but apparently paying full price is no guarantee. The hoop itself works fine. Sigh.

Perhaps I have to use it more. The first time I tried using it, it did not keep the design in place. I had to take off and use my original hoop. I think this will work find with very thin material.
