Riffe Forearm Replacement Knife straps

I was really worried that these would be the really flimsy, cheapo kind of elastic straps. I was VERY relieved to discover that they are actually well made, high quality kind of elastic straps. They are purely for strapping things to your arm though since they would never wrap all the way around any average sized legs(even at the calf level). I'm not a diver and these straps will probably never become submerged in sea water(or even fresh water) unless I fall in by accident so I cant tell you how they might hold up under such conditions. For what I wanted them for though, they are perfect. I wanted them to secure a small knife to my forearm so I can wear the knife under my shirt sleeves without the knife being seen. These straps work perfectly for that. Initially I worried that using ANY straps for that kind of purpose wouldn't work at all since I thought the knife would slide down my forearm over the course of wearing it(just from gravity and using the arm normally). These straps solve that problem flawlessly and comfortably. The straps hold the knife very securely in place without sliding up or down on my arm at all and do so without having to be cranked so tight that I lose circulation to my fingers. They really are very comfortable. I forget that I'm wearing anything on my arm a short time after I put the set up on. I highly recommend these. And if they hold up in the water as well as rubber straps probably would then that would be even better.

I love these for hiking and holding my knife on my leg I just wish they were big enough to go around a thigh making it easier to pull a knife out for protection.

My first purchase of these knife straps was back in 2016 and just this past week I purchased another knife strap for my dive partner. At the time of these purchases I was fortunate enough to get them at 15.00 flat Prime price but even though the price went up it is seriously WORTH IT. I used to use those cheap rubber knife straps but the problem with those styles of knife strap is that they are extremely uncomfortable, and they are prone to breaking due to sun damage. when you are out there spearfishing you don’t want ANYTHING distracting you from the task at hand. I use a McNett dive knife with these traps on my forearm and it is perfectly and never worry about the strap slipping off of me even when I get caught in the waves. I would recommend this product as well as some sort of bungee.

It works

Moved my dive knife onto my forearm and it’s so much easier for me to get to when spearfishing on scuba. These straps are holding up well.

I bought it 6 times cuz i love these but for some reason they had to change the shape of buckle so it doesn’t connect with the older ones. Pretty upset that they didn’t write it in the description.

I bought this for the ninth I bought a strap it to my arm and use it at the lake

My person opinion is they have to be uncomfortably tight for them to stay in place.
