I'm using these lights in a classroom, so they are on for 6.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The batteries lasted for about 2.5 weeks of use before I needed to change them. They aren't too bright, but have a nice, soft yellow glow.

Used these in our tent on our Disney trip. Definitely made it even more magical experience for the kids every night (2yr & 5 yr old). Hung them with clothes line clips & they put off enough light we didn't need an additional lamp.

nice gadget . I wasn't aware to the fact that it works on batteriesI was sure it is electric .
