Let me start by saying I rarely leave reviews, nevertheless a first review but this game is so so so unbelievable. Used with the cashflow mobile app, this game is life changing. I've read several of his books, yet, learning through concept vs innate strategy is a different ball game. Having opened the box after a family dinner ( bought it for myself and my brother ) it was so well designed and fun, everyone decided to play. Interesting to see how the game reflects reality in someways. Habits and purchasing tendencies ( and dare I say money fears ) after a few rounds became clear in the choices of each player. I found it fascinating to watch one person go from gambler to emotionally stuck due to frivolous purchases and start to make riskier emotionally driven moves as he fell behind. Behavior changes reflected his bank account, which was a total shock to all. 2 of us are big fans of law of attraction and abundance excercises. He's never been a believer, but the numbers and body language was clearly in need of help, there was no denying it. So we ran an experiment. 5 rounds we cheered him until he laughed and THEN made the choice to roll. The results. The more he had fun, the less emotional value he gave to money, the more his brain could make choices from a place of "it's coming now," vs " I don't have". Eventually hitting it big on a stock sale, he actually danced. After that sale, it was like a business mogul was unleashed. Moves became smarter and mistakes learned. Family members who we thought would win didn't ( total shock as they are great in business in real life ) and those whom we thought would lose, won. It made us all realize that our financial intelligence (and emotional attachments to money) needed a tune up. So much so we've decided that game nights are in order and will be buying the 202 version after mastering this one. The product itself is top notch quality and came in 2 days even though we selected free ground shipping. In conjunction with the app, its a much more favorable experience than doing all the math by hand. Allowing us to focus on strategy first. I'm a designer and attention to user interface, legibility, easy learning curve are important. The quality and organization of the game is very good. The box itself is not as big as I thought, but after unfolding, the game goard extends quite large. Can't compare to the classic as I've never seen one in person. As a first time user, the layout was simple, great color printing, durable paper stock and the dice & mice materials are of solid quality. The guidebook is fairy easy to use and navigate. There were a few questions that were not in the game rules and in a way had to create our own interpretation or fall into the answers during play. Such as how do you sell gold? Does one have to put back cards after property purchase or keep them like monopoly? These are more during the learning curve phase. The first time, it took us about 4+ hours to play with 4 people. Turns, learning rules and making decisions do take time. It was so much fun, can't wait to get more family members involved. Everyone is reconsidering their finances and some have already looked into more business opportunities and debt consolidation to get out of the rate race. Needless to say thank you for this game. I can only hope 202 carries these same standards and results. ( and app, love the app hope 202 gets developed soon ) If you want to learn to change financial habits and/or pin point where growth should happen in your life, get this game, now.

This board game is actually addictive once you learn to play. I found that the most important part of this game to me was "getting out of the rat race." Now, I've taken these same principles and concepts and begun applying them to my real-life finances. It has caused me to look at our spending habits and find ways to fight to get out of the rat race of life. It's a game that makes you want to play and "do things differently the next time," and the best part is that the concepts learned in the game are applicable to personal life.

Definitely should buy for a game night 10/10 game

I liked the game. I got it to play with my nephews who are 11 and 8, who love Monopoly. I did have to help them a bit but they were able to follow along once they caught on. A few times it got emotional for them but overall they enjoyed it and we finished the game after 3 hours. It was really funny watching them run into the other room and tell their mom "ah man, I got another kid!" or "I just earned $10,000!!" lol. I liked how the 8 year old, who was a lowly mechanic in the game, complained that his 11 year old brother was a lawyer that earned 3x more every payday—only to be the one to win anyways lol. I'd say negatives, besides cost, are that there should be dividers to help organize the money when putting it away. Also, it would be better if the fast track followed the same pattern as the rat race. It starts you off earning 100x the cash flow you had in the rat race which doesn't make any sense. That makes that part unrealistic unless you were starting the fast track like 20 years later. I did try playing by myself with 100x the cash flow and it will still work but takes quite a bit longer. But overall it's a fun game, it gets you thinking and using your math skills. They have wanted to schedule a time to play again and I'm looking forward to it as well.

My son's and I enjoyed this game. At first it seemed kind of ridiculous. But later after playing this game things in life that happened to us that reflected exactly what happened in the game. Whenever that happened we called it being Kiyosaki'd! We have actually learned life lesson from playing this game.

Played it with my wife and adult children and everyone loved it. Our first game took about 4 hours because we had to learn how to play, but nearing the end of the game we got much faster at the rounds and didn't always wait for the last player to finish all calculations before continuing on. I think 3 hours is probably about right for a game, 2 if your players are experienced and don't get stuck in the rat race like we did for a long time. While I don't agree with all of the money concepts that seem to be taught in the game, it does make you start thinking about money management in a different way. I hesitated to spend this much money on a board game, but really it's worth every penny. My son-in-law repeatedly stated how interesting it was and you could see the gears turning in his head thinking about his own real-life finances. My criticisms would stem from the fact that buying small houses appeared to be the worst way to work up to big deals. Investing in stocks was the only real way to make enough cash to do a big deal. Cashing out of a 2br 1ba home was something that we didn't even get a card to do until half the players were already out of the rat race - meaning the rest of us who'd gone that route were stuck for a long time without enough cash to do a big deal. None of us traded in gold coins, but that looks like something we might try next game now that we have a feel for the value. Don't expect this game to teach you detailed steps of "getting out of the rat race," but it will definitely teach you how to view your money and think twice about buying a new TV or jet ski. :-)

My 10 year old asks to play every day since we got the game! The first time, we played without an app. It did take over 2 hours. Since then, we downloaded the app and the game goes much faster. My husband and I both enjoy the game too. Our 14 year old doesn't love it yet, because her 10 year old sister keeps beating her.

I’ve read almost all the books written by Robert Kiyosaki and in the books Rich Dad Poor Dad & Ca$hFlow Quadrant he mentions “his board game” (Ca$hFlow) that’s where my interest begins in this expensive board game I really enjoyed the books as well as his concept and also being a lover of games and learning games at that despite the price I just told myself it’s an investment however it really does prime your mind up while also making you more conscious involving financial literacy as well as smart financial decisions ie assets, liabilities, expenses, positive cash flow (passive income) the only thing that is frustrating I can’t get anyone to play and nobody is interested in playing it everyone I propose it to says it’s too complex doesn’t sound fun. The constant writing rewriting erasing while using the financial statement is frustrating I was desperate to do more research and there actually is Ca$hFlow apps on the App Store (FREE) You can use to do all the math for you to make it easier moreover, to my dismay that still isn’t good enough to get anybody to wanna play I’ve had this game since 2022 and it is now 2025 and it is brand new I really wanna play cash flow 202 but for $70 just for the cards which you use everything from this game except you switch out the cards from this Ca$hflow 101 game set for the Ca$hflow 202 cards for me and my dilemma of getting anyone to play it would just be pointless. I just play online since I can’t play this physical game good news there is “Ca$hFlow Clubs” where people meet and play “like tournament style” I checked the website for local clubs and nothing in my area maybe where you reside there is also the PDF it claims it comes with it doesn’t no email nothing and no results from Amazon customer service which they encourage you to contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer claims to send it via email upon asking for your email address it’s been now (3yrs) and nothing not important anyway just don’t expect it (Good Luck)

Yes!! My son and his family absolutely love this game! My granddaughter is 11 years old. It was a gift.. they played it twice over the weekend. I have the game too , and I think it’s a great financial teaching tool.

The game is pretty pricey. However the little bits of investing knowledge that you pick up feel worth it.
