I’m a 5’11”, 185lb male using this to train with my 5-year-old son. The protector wraps around well, covering the sides, and when tightened it fits snug without feeling heavy. The adjustable straps on the shoulders and lower back keep it secure and allow easy movement during training. The foam padding feels extremely thick. The inner stomach area is a lighter fabric, so it can get warm during long sessions, but overall it’s comfortable, durable, and will be great for future use as my son grows and hits harder. For the quality, the price was very decent and I highly recommend it for martial arts or boxing training.

I’ve been using this body protector for mitt work, and it does a good job overall. The padding is thick and absorbs punches well, so you can take solid body shots without it feeling too rough. It makes training more realistic, especially for boxing and MMA drills. The straps feel secure, and the quick-release buckles make it easy to put on and take off between rounds. It stays in place during sessions and doesn’t shift around much. The synthetic leather feels decent, but not premium. It still holds up fine with regular use. My only downside is the price. It works well, but it feels a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, it’s a good piece of gear if you want solid protection during training, just expect to pay a little more than you might want.

Honestly this was just one of the few body pads that would ship to Alaska but it was just what I was looking for. Works great for training, punches, knees, kicks it can take it all and so can you. definitely gotta tighten it down for us smaller bodies but it certainly can. Plenty of room for different body types from heavy weights to lightweights. Durability is great taken it through multiple training sessions and so far so good.

Really enjoying this body armor from Contender, so far. It fits comfortably over the shoulders, and helps a lot with minimizing the impact of strikes - kicks included. Using this for home use, so it isn’t taking the type of beating it would at an actual gym, but the materials feel durable and sturdy. I really love that the shield extends around the sides of the abdomen - they make really great body targets when practicing liver & spleen shots. It’s fairly easy to slip on, but I’ve found that it’s best to have someone tighten the straps from the back for you to get the most snug fit. Overall, this body shield is a great value and does everything I expected it to do. Highly recommend!

Protection level: First time use of this equipment and I was not disappointed. Professional quality, simple fitting and it keeps me safe from body strikes. Highly recommend this brand and product.
