Collapsible wheelchair
This is a great, lightweight, portable chair. Easy to put together and collapse down. I wish I had noticed there were no hand brakes. I thought that was a bit odd bc it's a caregiver style chair.

Good transport wheelchair, easy to move
Sturdy enough for light use, for example through an airport. Wheels roll easily, it is light enough to carry and folds well. It seems to be well enough made. I wouldn't recommend it for uneven surfaces like city sidewalks, the front wheels are too small for that but it's a transport wheelchair, and for that it is good.

Most Reliable Lightweight Chair I Ever Bought!!!! Still Funtions As New Since 2018!!!
When it comes to being a Care Giver, anything that will make my life easier in regards to providing the proper care for my mom is certainly welcomed! With that said, this is my unpaid experience with this awesome little chair! I purchased it in 2018 and after 7 years of continual use... it is still fabulous! This chair has had its fair share of trips to and from various Doctor's offices, Stores, Shopping Outings, Restaurants, etc. From day one I have been very pleased with this chair's build quality, functionality and its light weight. My mom is 88 years old and she weighs about 169 pounds. I have had no problems getting her in and out of this chair, even with her Dementia. I can't say enough about how convenient it is for me in regards to this chair being able to fold up in seconds and easily be put in the back of my SUV. This chair still functions as new and I have never had any issues whatsoever with it! I highly recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for an affordable chair that has stood the test of time and to me worth every penny that I paid for it! Some I see have said it feels cheap... I have never thought that about this chair in any way... it just feels light and to me that is great!!!!!. I hope this true testimony and truthful review will help someone in their purchasing decision.. Have A Blessed Day!

Nice, lightweight transport chair, but...
This arrived quickly from Amazon.com and was well-packaged with no missing parts. Instructions were straightforward and clear, and this took just a matter of a few minutes to unpack and put together (very little needed to be done in terms of assembly; most of the chair arrives pre-assembled). The chair is lightweight and very easy to maneuver. My husband has a full-size wheelchair as well, and this one is so much easier to wheel around, lift, and load into our mid-size sedan car. I also like the handbrakes, which are very convenient and easier for me to lock than the wheel brakes on a regular wheelchair. It just takes a little practice if you are accustomed to the other type of brakes. What I found a little concerning and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that, despite the ample weight limit, the chair is narrow and not very stable, and can tip over or backward if you're not careful with it. My husband (200 lbs) has a bad habit of plopping down into his standard wheelchair, and it would be dangerous for him to do that with this chair and in fact it nearly fell backwards with him in it the very first time we used it. It's just something we will need to be very mindful of. I imagine this stability issue would be even greater on chairs with smaller back wheels, though, so I'm glad I opted to get a model with 12" rear wheels. I do wish the arms of this chair could fold down out of the way like they do on my husband's regular wheelchair. I'm not sure if that is a feature on any transport chair, though. My husband likes the height of the seat (a little higher than the seat on his regular wheelchair) and says it is fairly comfortable for the size, although the back doesn't provide much support and would not be ideal to sit in for any length of time (but in all fairness, this is a *transport* chair). We use a cushion on the seat. He also likes that the arm rests are a little longer than the ones on his regular wheelchair. Overall, this was a pretty good purchase for the price. I would not want to use it on uneven surfaces or for lengthy periods of time, but we will likely just use this transport chair indoors as a "backup" wheelchair rather than always having to lug the full-size wheelchair in and out of the house (hubby is fairly mobile with a walker, but sometimes needs to be wheeled into the house from the car---we have a ramp---and this will work perfectly for that). I do like that it fits through our smallish bedroom door frame whereas his regular wheelchair does not. As a very minor side note...one of the plastic caps on the rear wheel fell off today, which is the first time we have taken the chair out of the house. I'm not sure how to put it back on; it's just a decorative cap that conceals a bolt on the wheel and does not affect the chair's functionality.

It's a life saver
I had bought one of these chairs at a rummage sale a few years ago. My 96- and 94-year-old parents were living with me and I could see the writing on the wall concerning their mobility though neither of them wanted the chair for their self. For $25. I had nothing to lose if neither never used it. That chair was the best investment that I have ever made and it added quality to their lives. Fortunately, they didn't need it at the same time. We found ourselves saying it was the best $25. that we ever spent. Because of that chair when my uncle woke up one day not being able to walk and could only crawl we bought the Medline Lightweight Foldable Transport Wheelchair and had it sent to him. His wife had borrowed a heavy loaner wheelchair so she could take my uncle to his many doctor appointments. Loading that heavy wheelchair in and out of her car was killing her back. She cried of joy when she received the transport chair. It made their life so much better. My sister, severely hurt her knee. She and her family had plans and reservations to visit Washington D.C. with her on crutches. I had this transport chair sent to her house in S.C. in time for their trip. She wouldn't have made it 1/2 day on her crutches. The transport chair saved their vacation. It was easy to put in their trunk, then to take it on the train and then touring D.C. My brother-in-law said one day he pushed her around for 11 miles in the chair. I can't say enough about that transport chair. It's comfort, stability, its light weight, its just a life saver for the one who is pushing it and adds quality to the users life.

Light Weight and Compact
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting my chemotherapy soon. I started thinking about the fatigue and weakness I'm likely to experience as I go through this process. I know I'm going to be spending a lot more time at home, but I'm not willing to stop living my life either. So we thought maybe a wheelchair will help. So I got on Amazon and started looking. I noticed most wheelchairs are rather large even when collapsed. That wouldn't be an issue if our vehicle was big, but we drive a Kia Sportage. So I started looking for a compact wheelchair and found these transport chairs, game changer. We decided on this one. The reviews were decent, and because of the features. It's light weight, it has the large rear wheels, which are super important, and the hand breaks, if your transporting someone down a ramp your going to want them. Our order arrived the next day and was well packaged. It was super easy assemble. It only takes one person. I'm 5'6" and weigh 198. A lot of the chairs I looked at have a weight limit of 220. While I hope I don't gain weight, I know sometimes steroids are used and they can cause weight gain, so the fact that this one has a max weight limit of 300 made me feel better. I could see that if a person was must larger than myself they might want one designed for larger sizes. I fit well in this one with enough room let over that I'm comfortable with it. For our purposes of taking me to appointments and shopping when I need it, it will work perfectly. It feels plenty sturdy and our test drives have gone very well. The only thing we are going to add is the storage bag that hangs in the back, also for sale on Amazon for $20. If you are looking for a transport chair instead of a larger wheelchair and the person will be sitting in it for hours on end you might want to add a seat cushion. For our purposes it is more than comfortable.

Strong and Lightweight
I've been using this chair for about a month and am so grateful for it. My mom needs something to help her get around when she needs to leave the house and travel for longer distances than she can comfortably walk. I was initially worried that the seat area might be too small or feel too tight for my mom, who was about 200 lbs, but there are no problems with that at all. Someone in another review suggested getting a seat pad to make the seat more comfortable, and I 100% agree. It greatly adds to the comfort of the chair because I didn't find it too comfortable without the pad. What I love about the chair is how lightweight and compact it is. When my mom needs to take a cab or get a ride in a car, the leg attachments come on and off very easily, the chair folds easily, the push handles also fold down to give it a smaller profile for stowing, and the chair is so lightweight that it's easy to put in and out of a trunk or to carry up and down stairs. The locking mechanism is easy to access and is secure. Unlike a regular wheelchair, this transport chair is intended to be pushed by someone, not for the person seated to be able to push themselves, but I do wish there was a way that the seated person could have access to a/the locking mechanism so they could lock or unlock the chair themselves if necessary. My mom once used to the chair to scoot herself around the kitchen in order to cook and it was tricky for her to stand up and sit down with ease because she couldn't access the brakes herself from a seated position and the brakes should be on as a person sits and gets up. Overall, I am thrilled with this chair and highly recommend it. The big wheels create a smooth ride and the material of the wheels allow me to kinda easily slide my mom over in the chair when on a smooth surface and I need more room to navigate in a small space. Highly recommended.

Lightweight
I bought this for my husband of 85 years 5โ11 220 pounds. Used it for granddaughterโs graduation and a cruise. It is NOT a wheelchair as it is NOT as sturdy but does an excellent job in its place. It did travel over the track on the field fine for graduation. Tiny Front wheels catches on uneven surfaces, and can tip the person seated over and out of chair. Be careful and just turn the chair around using the big back wheels to go over those surfaces first then thereโs no problem. The long gangplank of the cruise ship had those uneven areas and we managed just fine with no problems. As I said just turn the chair and go at them with the large back wheels first. We took the chair on excursions and throughout the ship and never had a problem with it. I saw several people with the same chair on the ship. It was handy for sea days when the water was a bit rough for stability when he wanted to walk and not sit. This chair made our trip safe and am very happy with the choice. It was able to be taken on a bus and a boat that held 20 people with no problem. It folds up nicely so it fit in the back of the Kia Soul with luggage and in our stateroom. Husband fit fine in it, he said it was comfortable. I wouldnโt put a taller person than my husband in it as the leg extensions would not accommodate. Also I think weight wise it would t fit much more than my husband. He took the whole seat space and I was concerned he wouldnโt fit but he did and he said he had no problem sitting in it.

lightweight, well thought design
I bought this for my mother based on the features of a similar wheelchair that we had borrowed and that I liked. But this one was a little better. We've used it for 3 months, now, whenever she has to go out. It's light enough to be easy to put into a car's trunk with one hand. The footrests are detachable, and if the trunk is a bit too small, the handles fold down. And that design is nicely done because there's a bit of a bend in the handles so that they wrap around the frame. Other transport wheelchairs have the handle straight with the frame and they end up having to be angled away so those chairs don't lay flat. This one does lay flat with the handles folded, and that also makes the chair significantly smaller. The brakes can be locked (a common feature). The footrests can be flipped up or swung all the way out of the way, to clear a path to a chair (or car seat)(a common feature, I think). There are pushbars near the rear wheels to help tilt up the chair to get over small bumps. It folds and unfolds very easily. This isn't a super sturdy chair for negotiating rough terrain but it does reliably get my mother to her doctors and the table at the restaurant with little fuss, which is all I ask of it. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Very good value. Rolls well.
I bought this for my father who is 180 lbs and 5'8". He says it is very comfortable and the large wheels help to make the ride smooth over small bumps. Sometimes he sits in it at home instead of the normal house furniture because he says it is so comfortable. It is very light for the size, and easy to push with someone it it. The foot rests remove, handles fold down, and sides come together about half the original width, then it easily fits in any small hatchback and probably most sedan trunks. It can be collapsed, or reassembled, in under a minute. It fits in the rear of my Toyota mini van without any need to collapse. I just put it in the back standing on the wheels, and lock the brakes. The construction is very good, but beware this is a light duty chair which I don't think can take extreme use. It doesn't go at all in gravel, sand or thick lawns. I was afraid to break it when once I tried pushing my dad across the lawn. I took my dad to a cemetery with a paved foot path that had lots of roots raising the pavement. The chair felt like it was twisting out of shape, and I am sure it would not endure a lot of this twisting. The chair is not meant for "off roading". If you stay on hard flat surfaces it is a great chair for the user and the pusher. I think it is very good value and would highly recommend if used only on flat, firm surfaces.

Great buy just incompatible for my dad
The product is actually amazing in terms of quality. Very light weight and sturdy as well. I am returning just because it was incompatible because my father is a bit overweight and mom was not able to handle the wheelchair at steep places. Otherwise it is overall a 5 star.
