Great little book, easy to understand and reference during travel, great size to fit in bag or backpack.

Easy to read, very communicative!

Handy guide with pronunciation assistance. There is an error on the first page of Chapter 2 Travel. The guide has the translation for 'left' and 'right' in correct. "A gouache" = to the left. " A droit" = to the right. Kinda a key translation for travel direction to get correct. Now I wonder how many other typos there may be?

Once you hear the French phrase or term the book is helpful. Otherwise, it is difficult to sound out the words even with the helpful phonetic spelling in the book.

This is an excellent little book. It has a lot of useful French phrases that show up the proper pronunciation of each word. It also covers the basics of French vocabulary. You'll recognize a lot of words already, but even if you've studied French for years in school, this book will help you learn new words and how to actually speak French. At %5, you can't beat this book..
