Aston Microphones Aston Rycote Universal Studio Mount

Description

The Aston Rycote USM (Universal Studio Mount) is an InVision product that makes use of Rycote’s patented vibration-resistant Lyre mount. The W-shaped Lyres are placed around a central mounting ring with adjustable fasteners, allowing the USM to accommodate any microphone with a diameter of between 18 and 55 millimetres.Aston Mics chose Rycote as a partner for shockmounts, because not only are they made in the UK, just like Aston's mics, but they are also among the best mounts on the market today. The Aston Rycote USM updates the concept of the microphone suspension for the 21st century, completely omitting any elasticated parts and using modern materials to create a virtually indestructible shockmount with a performance that far outstrips that of the humble "cat’s cradle" suspension. In controlled tests at the Rycote factory, the USM provided up to twice the isolation of traditional microphone suspension systems.Finished in Aston colors, this universal mount makes the ideal accessory for use with Aston's Origin and Spirit mics, as well as any other mics.TCIN: 76126821Origin: made in the USA or importedIf the item details above aren’t accurate or complete, we want to know about it.
