Highly recommend!
Great product! Worked well on our kitchen cabinets which were really worn and water damaged finish. This product refreshed them and made them look near new. It enhanced the wood grain and gave it more of a rustic look. The cabinets feel well protected with a nice finish, not too glossy. Application was easy, just very smelly. Recommend gloves and a mask in a well ventilated room.

The Best!!
This stuff is like magic! I bought this to restore and darken our older vintage cabinets because we canโt afford to replace them, and WHEW it was the best decision I ever made! This stuff does smell pretty strong until it dries, sort of like paint - but it is easy to use, easy to clean up mistakes, really good quality, a little goes a long way, and it seems to have really done a good job of cleaning, staining, and polishing our old wood cabinets. Itโs honestly so good. The only warning I have is: wear gloves - it will stain your fingers! Silly of me to think it wouldnโt but hey, lesson learned.

This stuff is amazing!
This was my first experience with Briwax (Tudor Brown) and I stand amazed! The reviews and photos here on Amazon were so helpful that I decided to post my own. The more "orange" longer cabinets are the BEFORE pic and the darker ones with the dark hardware are the AFTER pic. We were doing a minor kitchen remodel and Hubby loves wood cabinets so I opted for waxing instead of painting them. But I wanted them to be DIFFERENT and I am SO happy with the results. Yes, the smell is a little strong while you're working with it but I opened a window, turned on a box fan, and didn't wear a mask and was just fine. And the smell does dissipate very quickly! It requires some work and a little elbow grease but I couldn't be any more pleased with the results! I know there are many ways to apply it, but I just used one microfiber cloth to apply and another microfiber cloth to polish afterward, changing cloths as needed. The Briwax also covered up EVERY flaw in the wood and made everything look intentional, which made my cabinets look brand new. Can't wait to try it on my staircase next since all of our wood is the more dated "orangey" oak. If you want your cabinets even darker, you could probably go with Dark Brown or another color. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Waxing the wood door
Messy to use but excellent to preserve old wood doors. Comes in different stains. Probably works best to apply to a wood surface when the wood is new. Then the application easy, the color homogeneous. When the wood has weathered the color can be streaky, and stain irregularly. Next application I plan to sand the door prior to application.

Why pay for new cabinets when you can spend $20 on wax
I have been searching high and low for a solution to my hideous 1990s Honey Oak kitchen cabinets. I came across a blog that a woman had used used Briwax to darken her cabinets. I thought for $20 and lots of elbow grease I would give it a shot. I can't believe more people aren't aware that this is a way to redo your cabinets. The results are incredible! I applied it using a brush. Left some extra along the crevices. After the wax dries you buff it out with a soft cloth. It leaves the cabinet shiny and beautiful. I used Tudor Brown because I wanted something that would compliment our wood trim. The level of dark is in your hands. You can be heavy handed or just add some color. I haven't tried yet but I read that the clear Briwax is like an eraser and it can help clean up areas that you don't like. I will be able to get just over half my kitchen done with one can. You could get more but I really want to cover the ugly oak so I'm using more than most would. The best part is you don't have to sand or prepare your cabinets before you do this. Just make sure the item you are about to wax is clean and dry. When I first bought my house I hated the yellow kitchen because it clashed with the cabinets. Now the yellow walls really pop and warm everything up. My first pic is the naked oak cabinet. Second picture is me doing an even coat on entire cabinet and buffed. Third pic is an uneven coat trying a distressing look. Last picture is my final product of what I wanted to achieve. A darker color with some wax left in the crevices for a distressed look.

What a great product!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is one of the best products I've used over both pre-finished wood and raw wood and it did not disappoint. It was so easy to use and very little mess (recommend wearing gloves). I will definitely go back to this Briwax for my future needs and highly recommend this to everyone!

Excellent product
Amazing stuff! I used it to restore cabinets that have peeling due to water damage. It made them look new! Super easy to use. A little goes a long long ways. Use rubber gloves. Have 2 cloths one for application and one for buffing just a few min later. Highly recommend.

Unsure. Unhappy with my results
Just turned my honey cabinets orange. Not sure what went wrong. Also had a heck of a time trying to buff it like youโre supposed to. Finally had to heat it with a hair dryer to get the excess off.

Turns ugly orange cabinets to rustic farmhouse
Briwax Tudor Brown Furniture Wax Polish completely transformed our outdated 1970s cabinets into a sleek farmhouse-style kitchen! It was incredibly easy to use and made a dramatic difference in just a few hours. The finish is smooth, rich, and stands up remarkably well to heavy wear, which is perfect for a busy kitchen. We were impressed with how far the product goesโwe only used about half the container to cover all our cabinets. Beyond just improving appearance, it also cleans, stains, and polishes, giving the wood a professional, modern look without a lot of effort. This wax made our kitchen feel like a high-end remodel without the cost or hassle. Overall, Briwax is a practical, high-quality product that delivers excellent results, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to refresh furniture or cabinetry.

Huge difference!!
I live in an apartment with nasty, old kitchen cupboards that wouldn't close (see the tape on the before pic) and they were a mess. I am not experienced enough to "fix" them, but I added some magnets to keep them closed and I did some research and found that Briwax may make them look better. It is quite messy and will stain anything it touches, so you have to be careful working with it but it was quite an easy application. It took me about an hour to do all 14 cupboards and the few drawers. While they don't look brand new still, they DEFINITELY look a lot better. I would recommend this product to anyone who has old cupboards and wants to brighten them up.

expensive but worth it
It is probably the best furniture wax, but I am not giving it 5 stars because my container was only 2/3 full. They should give you a full container for the price they are charging.

Magic in a jar
This stuff is nothing short of miraculous. I have lived in my current home just over four months and have the orange oak cabinets that have never been cleaned. The grime and hardened on food was bad enough, but the dry wood looked like the only thing I could do was paint. I saw this stuff and thought I had nothing to lose. I cleaned the wood very well first, and I have just finished applying the first coat to one door. It looks fabulous. I used 000 steel wool to apply. I could not be happier or more relieved. This little canis going to save me a hundred hours of work. Thank you!
