I'm very pleased. Surprisingly better than expected.
I work in a place where we have tons of material on carts everywhere, 36 work stations, thread and material everywhere. At the end of the week, it's fuzz for days everywhere. We use a lot of compressed air to blow the debris on the floor out from under workstations and material handling carts, but there's so much back and forth blowing and sweeping the same fuzz from place to place. This is great for our purposes as we can have a "blower" and a "sucker" working together to minimize the back and forth and dealing with the same fuzz that often just gets moved around the shop. It is really easy to navigate through our maze of stuff to get places that we couldn't practically get to before. You still have to think about the cord a bit, but it's SO much easier than trying to drag a shop vac around our crowded floor space. I find it to be very light weight for it's effectiveness, and it's comfortable enough to wear that I don't even think about it while I'm vacuuming. In fact, it's so effective that I'm amazed and having fun with it. I'm sure that will wear off as soon as it becomes more routine. When it arrived over the weekend, I couldn't wait for Monday to give it a whirl. What has two thumbs and gets excited to clean? Yes, THIS GUY! LOL. So, I gave it a go at my house on Sunday afternoon. I was able to do the ceiling corners for cobwebs, baseboards, blinds, window sills, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms and the like with amazing ease. Let's just say I'll be borrowing this from work occasionally. I was able to do the entire downstairs from one central outlet, and all of upstairs the same way in our 1,900 sq ft home in about an hour and a half. Mind you, It would go quicker if our home was cleaner to start with, and now that it's this easy, I won't stand to see cobwebs in the corners of the rooms as soon as I spot them. I do wish I had a better floor attachment for larger balls of fuzz for the shop, but I do have a unique situation, and I will find something that works. For my house, I was able to do it all without having to clear the filter. For work, I empty it out about three times before I'm done. Very pleased. I hope it keeps working like it does. It seems very sturdy and well made, but I just got it. I'll update my review if I have any problems.

Excellent product
For me, this is definitely one of the best options. Since I work in cleaning, I find it very practical—it’s not too heavy, and best of all, it saves a lot of time compared to regular sweeping. It’s easy to clean—simply perfect! 👌 10/10

Seriously, an awesome vacuum!
(Disclaimer: I really like vacuums. I don't really know why, and no I don't have a weird or inappropriate obsession, I just find vacuums fun). Holy guacamole! This vacuum is AWESOME. I bought this vacuum to use as part of a small cleaning operation I have going on the weekends. It has satisfied my expectations and then some. PROS: -This vacuum is powerful. I spent a good amount of time talking with one of the custodians at work about the pros and cons of different backpack vacuums. I landed on this one for its performance/price. This is not one of the high-priced commercial backpack vacuums but I feel confident that I am getting the same (if not better, in some instances) power and effectiveness out of this vacuum for ~60% of the price. -The vacuum is versatile. The many attachments, the length of the extensions, the way the head swivels, all combine to provide an incredibly easy and thorough vacuuming experience. It is just as easy to vacuum ceilings and vents as it is to vacuum hard floors. One of my favorite applications is as a duster. This vacuum makes dusting certain areas incredibly easy (and I hate dusting). It obviously does not work well for dusting shelves full of objects, but the following areas are great examples: blinds and the part that holds the blinds (don't know what it's called haha), molding, vents, certain light fixtures, under and above cabinets, on and around washer/dryer, etc. -This vacuum has changed my opinion about vacuuming stairs. Vacuuming stairs used to be a tedious, difficult, and frankly annoying job. This vacuum has taken what used to be a 10-20 minute job (depending on the staircase) and turned it into a 2 minute job. -The vacuum design is actually a rather simple one, and as such cleaning it and keeping it clean are very easy. There are no difficult nooks or crannies to work with, and most parts seemed designed to last a long time. -When worn properly, this vacuum is comfortable. CONS: -The vacuum takes some getting used to. Trying to get the vacuum on and comfortable takes time. I figure it's a matter of trial and error. For someone not familiar with using backpack vacuums, it can definitely take some time to learn to navigate smaller areas differently. After a few minutes, especially if you're wearing the vacuum correctly, you can forget that there is a relatively large object attached to your back. I have bumped into a few things this way (not a major deal, just something to think bout). -This vacuum is not designed to clean carpets, and that is obvious. It is awesome at cleaning super-low pile carpets (like those in schools and offices), but anything above that is out of the question. Carpeted applications really require a beater brush and something with wheels, which this vacuum obviously does not have. -This vacuum is NOT a wet vacuum. It is absolutely not designed to pick up liquids and they should definitely be avoided. (As a tip: the custodian I have become friends with has mentioned that pouring baking soda on liquids and then vacuuming up the baking soda works extremely well and helps to navigate around this issue). Overall, the vacuum is amazing for doing what it's intended to do! If you're looking for something to make vacuuming hard floors even easier (whether it's a commercial application or even a household application) then this is the vacuum for you. The fact that it is designed for commercial use means you can feel comfortable using it "outside" on porches, decks, garages, etc.

This thing sucks... literally lol
Two year/final update: Welp... I still have it and it's going as strong as the day I started using it. One of the plastic pieces for adjusting the shoulder strap did break at some point so I just created a loose knot so that shoulder can't be adjusted (it's fine) but the other one can still be loosened or tightened. The HEPA bag and 2 filters are hanging in there too. As long as you keep them clean and air dry them, they'll continue being functional. Tip: If you want your power cord to last and not bunch up or have a ton of loops in it, set the vac on the floor, pull the cord down a hallway/open area and "rotate" the plug counter-clockwise or clockwise which will "roll" the cord. That keeps the wire inside the jacket from twisting. --------------------- One Year Update: My backpack vacuum is still going strong. I'm still using the HEPA bag that came with it, but I did buy a ton of the paper bags inside of it to keep it clean. If the bag breaks (it's gonna happen), you'll obviously have to dump the dirt and wash it which is easy to do. I did end up buying a different wand since the clip that allows you to break down the wand into 2 parts broke after the 1st or 2nd week of use. I bought the extendable wand that comes with Hoover's commercial battery powered backpack vacuum. It was hard to get the hose on, so I expanded the hose connector a tiny bit (with a heat gun) to fix that problem. The velcro on the waist strap will eventually wear out so I just put in 2 button snaps. Besides those small things, I still love it! ------------------------- I spent quite a bit of time trying to find a decent backpack vac without spending a ton. I like it way better than my pro team vac. It's lighter, smaller and has much better suction in my opinion. The band that velcros around your waist is super comfortable. With my pro team vac, I'd always get shoulder and back pain and I wore it correctly. I don't have any pain with this one. The reusable bag deal is excellent too. I will admit it's a pain in the butt to clean but better than buying new bags constantly and it takes maybe 2 mins to clean. I love the color of the extension cord (matches the vacuum) and the length of it too. My only dislike is where the power button is located though. I've got big shoulders so turning it on is kinda tough sometimes. The attachment loops are kinda useless to me but I keep the attachments in my cargo pocket when needed. I highly recommend this one over the pro team vac. It's much cheaper, easier to maintain, much lighter and does a better job at picking up stuff.

Great vac!!!
Works great!! I loved my cordless Dyson but it was coming to the end of its life and I was tired of not being able to vacuum my entire house on a single charge so I decided to get a corded vac again. PROs: great suction, super duper long cord, can vac entire house at one time (vs using a cordless that loses charge half way through) glides smoothly on HARD floors, nice long handle that is shaped in such a way that it will go underneath furniture on feet, wide head so that can vac a wider path and get done quicker, large dirt canister, easy to put on back, comfy enough to wear CONs: obviously the cord—it’s great that it’s long but it does get in the way a bit, awkward to use in tight spaces—not good if all rooms are small because you’ll be hitting walls with the long handle or bumping them with backpack, wide head doesn’t fit into tight spaces so might need to do some areas with a vac with smaller head, dirt canister is a pain to clean out (can’t just quickly dump like a bagless vac), does not glide on carpeted surfaces—seems like you have to vac at just the right angle otherwise it kind of “catches” (don’t mean snag, just doesn’t glide) since there are no wheels on the head, definitely not as convenient as a cordless and so I don’t vac as often as I should cuz it takes more time to assemble, takes more storage space Despite all the CONs, I still highly recommend this vac, but I think the CONs need to be considered to see if it would work in your situation. In my opinion it was a great vac for a great price (I got it while on sale)

Perfect for sweeping hard surface floors and steps in a hurry!
I used to own a cleaning company and can't imagine being without this tool. If you have hard surface floors and a lot of steps (carpeted or not) this is a must have. The price is reasonable and it's very quality made. You'll want to purchase the disposable bags that go in it to keep the cloth bag and filter clean. This product was developed with bad backs in mind. It actually makes you stand up straighter and it makes my back feel better! You can barely tell its on and it's great having your hands free and allows you to move around freely. The cord is super long. I've cleaned large commercial spaces and have only had to move the cord plug in placement once. The cord is actually an orange extension cord so would be easy to replace. The handle is very long. I wish they made a shorter accessory for it for smaller spaces, but for the most part, it's perfect. It has a strong motor and is quality made. I've used these for several years now commercially and they're still running great with no maintenance. The drop in bags are expensive but you won't go through them as fast on a residential use. You can go without them, but the cloth bag will need to be replaced more often. Filters, paper disposable bags and the cloth bag replacements are easily purchased on line. My husband demands to clean the floors now because he likes using this tool so much. You can see what is going into the bag which intrigues him and he likes how easy it is to sweep under furniture and the steps without having to bend over. If you accidentally sweep up something important, you can retrieve it easily.

Cord is only a foot long; can't be used with extension cords 🙃
Probably a fine vacuum; while setting mine up and reading the manual, it explicitly says not to use it with an extension cord, yet comes with an extension cord and directs you to use an extension cord, just 2 pages after explicitly telling you to never use it with an extension cord. That seems like a liability to me, but I guess I can use that extension cord for something else in my house. Since you can't use one with this, the actual cord is only about a foot long. I can't vacuum much if I have to be within 1 foot of an outlet, so I'm knocking 3 stars off for that. It vacuums great within 1 foot of each outlet, as the hose and extensions help quite a bit, but it's very difficult to finagle around to actually get all the areas, since you basically have to sit on the floor to have it plugged in, so I'm knocking another star off for that. I would knock another star off if I could, since there's no way to email or chat with their customer support about this; their website doesn't even acknowledge that this model exists in the help section, so... I guess we're on our own and buyer beware! (I know, I know; this should be a minor thing, but seriously? How can you expect users to read the manual when your copy writers don't even read it? And why have no way to communicate electronically with someone about it? It's 2025.)

Great Vac, but Wand pieces dont stay togehter!!
First, I want to say everything about this vacuum is exactly what I wanted and expected, except the wand pieces are defective...and I'll update review accordingly to how that is handled. I was very excited to get this, bought it for myself before Christmas. We have mainly hard floors and flat carpet, and my old Dyson weight a ton and lugging that thing behind me when vacuuming drove me crazy. Very cumbersome, always fell over, dragged it into furniture, etc... The though of a quality Back-pack Vac was great for my purposes, because of the flexibility to vacuum large swaths, get into corners easily, move things without disrupting vacuuming, all the while dragging just a cord. Its not for everyone, but if you are relatively active, fit, and want to get things done quickly, give it a shot. My first vacuuming was great. Great suction, easy to use, a lot of attachments. Its goign to take a few to figure out the most efficiently way to swap attachemnts during vacuuming, but like anythign, you need to adapt to and build up an appropriate operational work protocol. Beware! One Major Flaw. The wand pieces I received, do NOT stay together. When pushing on carpet, the top wand piece slides 1/2" forward into the bottom wand piece, and the locking pin unlocks and then the two pieces twist and come apart. Very frustrating if this is a design flaw. But if its an issue with my particular wand pieces, I am sure Hoover will honor a replacement wand. I am going to contact the manufacturer directly tomorrow to address this and we'll see

Dust and Dirt Be Gone.
Serious vacuuming power. Love the extra long power cord. Plug it in the center of the house and can reach 85% of the area. Especially love the backpack feature as it make vacuuming easy and way less tiresome, especially going up and down stairs. The attachments are great and can reach pretty much everywhere. Not too loud considering it's right on your back. Sure made spring cleaning easier.

Great vac
Just got this and tried it out on my office floors. We have mostly wood floors on 4 levels. Great suction and I really like the long arm. Backpack is very comfortable and not as heavy as expected. Nice long cord too.

Disappointed. Accessories won't attach, Poor suction
I am returning this item. I’m genuinely disappointed. I purchased it after reading many positive reviews here and on YouTube, so I had high expectations. I needed it for a post‑renovation job and it was my only vacuum, but the accessories would not stay attached, despite following the instructions I found on YouTube. It was embarrassing and extremely inconvenient. I had no other vacuum available, so I had to keep using it even though the attachments kept falling off while I worked... eventually I had to stop using it and had to drive back home to pick up my cheap runned down Bisell Vacuum that works better. On top of that, the suction is quite weak. I’m not sure if I received a defective unit, but overall this was a letdown.

Bustin’ makes me feel good!
I love this vacuum so far! I purchased it to use in our commercial space that often has a dog hanging out in it. The vacuum is great for pet hair, it’s so much more convenient to maneuver than a vacuum with a drag along part! It cut my vacuuming time in half. It’s nice and light, easy on your back and comfortable to carry. Also, I feel like a ghostbuster when I’m cleaning.
