This WGGE self-adjusting wire stripper is a great tool and makes wiring jobs much easier. Purchased this to complete some wiring projects in my home. I have been using the small standard Wire Trimmers that have the multiple size "holes" for many years. I found the old style wire trimmers "hit and miss" since you have to guess what size hole to use for the correct wire. Most of the time it's fine but when stripping thin multi-strand wire - it's a complete pain. Many times I cut the wire when stripping the coating. If it's very this multi-strand - it's almost impossible. These new Self-Adjusting wire strippers work perfectly. I have stripped Copper Romex and multi-strand wire effortlessly. I would recommend this product.

Feels pretty heavy weight and looks high quality for it's price. The size was pretty good too, not too small or too big. The wire cutter worked well. The wire stripper was not what I was expecting in a good way. It did have some difficulty gripping the wire so it slipped a little bit. But it did strip the wire. I noticed that the wire stripper blades did not cut deep enough into the wire so you have to loosen the adjustor knob a little bit if you encounter the same problem.

If you're still using the old style wire strippers, donate them to someone else and get one of these. They work wonderfully. My only regret is that I didn't get them sooner!
