Excellent facial cleanser! It leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out or causing irritation. I love that it’s fragrance-free and contains niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, so my skin feels fresh, soft, and hydrated after every wash. It lathers well, and a little goes a long way. I will definitely purchase it again.

I think I have combination skin, I don't specifically know what my TRUE skin type is but I do know that my face gets super greasy throughout the day and during the night, but I also break out very easily. I've always had problems finding cleansers that get rid of the nasty oils on my face and make me feel truly clean. Most cleansers that I've felt have "worked" for me make my face feel tight afterwards, and I always associated that tightness with cleanliness and cleansing. That all changed when I got this. Everyone does recommend CeraVe but after I used "CeraVe in the tub" and it broke me out horribly, I was wary of all CeraVe products. I decided to give this a shot and see how it worked for me. First of all it truly does what it says it does, my face DOES NOT feel tight afterwards but I still feel like my face is "clean". Sometimes I even forget to put on moisturizer right after a shower because my face feels so smooth, clean and quenched. My boyfriend has noticed a change in my complexion and even asked if I was using something different because my face looked so clear! This product even curbs the hormonal acne I get about a month before my birth control appointment is due. It's a lot of quality product for the price, and you only need a small amount to work up a lather. This is truly for "Normal to Oily skin" because my boyfriend started using it to wash his face as well and it looks so much better, no more flakiness for him! I'm really glad I gave this a shot and I will try incorporating more CeraVe products into my skincare routine slowly and see if my results are even better. If you think you have oily skin and your oily face is what mostly makes you feel gross throughout the day, then I really do think you should give this product a try, It gets rid of makeup and built up grease in one wash, and it doesn't make your face feel tight afterwards which I think is key. I like this so much I have a subscription, but it lasts so long I only have it set to get one every 4 months and that's with two people using it at the same time.

This products is about the only one that helps with breakouts on skin. It cleans the face thouroughly and leaves it moisterized all day.

I have struggled with acne since I was nine years old. From 9-14 I had really had acne all over my face, chest, and back, and then I took accutane and that cleared it up. When I was 16, I went on birth control because I would never have a period. At the beginning of this year, I went off birth control and my acne went crazy again because I wouldn't have a period. I got it really bad on my neck and jawline as well as my cheeks, which is where a body usually will break out after coming off of birth control, as well as acne on my shoulders and back. This acne is, of course, not nearly as bad as when I was younger, but still annoying and a confidence shammer, especially since I am 20 years old. This past summer I refused to go to the beach and the pool because I was so ashamed of what my face looked like without makeup and the acne on my back. I bought this after reading reviews on here and after trying a few products that didn't work. I didn't realize that this product wasn't directed for body acne, but it has helped with that as well. I have been using this product for a little over a month and have seen/felt the most improvement with this product over anything else. Clearing acne is a long process and usually if people don't see instant results, they give up. Don't give up on this! I feel so much more confident with my face, even if all my pimples aren't cleared up, but my face feels so much more smooth because this product really does smooth it out. For the first three weeks I used it once a day in the shower and last week I amped it up to twice a day and I've noticed the most change this past week. This product is wonderful because it smoothes out skin, so it's not itchy and I don't feel compelled to pick acne scabs, which is why it has helped even with my shoulder and back acne even though it's not meant for that. It's cleared up the acne on the top of my back but some still remain on my shoulders and lower back. I may switch to a different solution for body acne, but I am certainly sticking to this for my face. It's incredible! The first pic is after first use, the second is after a month. Will update with after two months. Also, I still have a lot left in this bottle going into month 2.

This cleanser is kinda the definition of “reliable but not exciting.” It does exactly what it says: cleans your oily skin without nuking your moisture barrier. No fragrance, no drama, no random breakouts. It’s basically the responsible friend of skincare. It foams nicely, feels gentle, and keeps things balanced — not squeaky‑dry, not greasy. Hyaluronic acid + niacinamide is a solid combo, so your skin stays calm even if you’re washing twice a day. It’s not life‑changing, but it’s definitely a staple. I have recently switched from using expensive products (CLARINS, or PREVAGE system or Peter Thomas Roth) products...to the Korean skincare routine. The expensive products were not fixing my skin issues... Even though i took Accutane back in the day which fixed my really bad acne, since then I still dealt with break outs, combo skin, bad texture because of moderate acne scarring, redness, and large pores on my nose. I would NEVER leave my house with out makeup on period.... I have a few Korean and Chinese friends and I started asking about how they manage their perfect looking skin. Lo and Behold, the Korean Skincare Routine enters my life. You can get things just as good a quality for half the price out of Korean skincare lines IMO...the system may seem like a lot of work but once you get the routine it really isn't so bad. Why should we take a moment to pamper ourselves? Prior to using this system even with the expensive products i was previously using i was embarrassed of my skin. Now, if I want to the only makeup i really need to do to quickly get out the door is maybe eyebrows and some mascara... My skin has completely turned around. So much so that my boyfriend has had me start using the products on him and a friend asked me to send her the following routine information. Since my friend has been using the korean routine products (with some modification for her aging skin as she is 50) ....She is so impressed as well. I am a 24 year old female with very oily and extremely sensitive skin. I've never had terrible acne so I can't speak for that; however, I do have pores that tend to clog up and used to have the occasional breakout (several pimples at once, once a month or so). I have eczema and constantly have to search for products that are not too drying but also keep the oil at bay. I don't know what it is about this cleanser. I think it's generally considered mild, but it works wonderfully for me. My dermatologist recommended it to me about 3 years ago and I've used it since. It's not great at removing makeup but that's not it's purpose. I use a rose oil cleanser at night to remove make up along with this cleanser in the morning and after the rose oil at night. It makes my face feel very clean. I also use it in combination with the moisturizing lotion and my skin seems to be very happy. I do not have any redness now and my skin tone looks a lot more even. I still get the occasional pimple (maybe once every two-three months). Overall my skin looks pretty good and it's definitely clear majority of the time although I still struggle with clogged pores on my nose. Another thing I love about this product is that it's just mild enough to where you can combine with other products and not have to worry about over doing it. For example, every once in awhile, I'll feel like using a strong exfoliant or chemical peeling agent. I can use the cleanser right after and not have to worry about the combination causing a harsh skin reaction. I think I finally found the daily combination that works for me. I’ve been using CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser twice a day for about 3 months on my oily skin. The gel texture foams up easily with just a small amount and removes sunscreen, light makeup, and oil without a lot of scrubbing. What I like is that my face feels clean and refreshed afterward but not squeaky or overly tight, especially if I follow with a moisturizer. It’s fragrance‑free, which is great for my sensitive side, and I like that it’s formulated with ceramides and other barrier‑friendly ingredients instead of harsh detergents. Overall, this is a solid everyday cleanser for normal to oily or combination skin that wants a deep clean without stripping. I’d recommend it if you struggle with excess oil or breakouts but still want something gentle enough for daily use.

The gel may smell a bit alcoholic but it’s not, after the wash there’s no smell at all, just like water wash. Works quite well on my combo skin, removes the oil and dirt fantastically. It’s the most value for money brand than some other US, French brands of the same quality. My seller was “beauty cares”.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser is a great all-round face wash that removes oil, dirt, and makeup without stripping your skin. The foam feels light and refreshing, and the added ceramides help protect your skin’s natural barrier. It’s great for daily use, though if your skin is on the drier side you might want a richer follow-up moisturiser.

Great product...gives a complete clean. Face feels smooth, tight and refreshed.
