Iglesias, who wrote six songs here, sounds more confident and in control than ever in this work produced by Rafael Perez-Botija. Ultimately, though, most of this stuff sounds like lightweight pop pap wrapped in lush arrangements, occasionally overly dramatic and consistently overproduced. The tunes go down nicely, but they're instantly forgotten once they're over. The only tunes into which Iglesias injects some notable fire are "Para de Jugar" and the R&B/funk-flavored "Dicen por Ahi." It hardly matters, however, to his main audience--mostly adoring female fans. Iglesias's matinee-idol looks and this sweet ear candy are all they need. --Ramiro Burr
