I've been using this wonderful facial cleanser since the 80's when I was in my 20's. Now I'm 66 and it still works beautifully. I'm a retired esthetician and haven't found a cleanser I like as much as this and I've tried many. Does the job without stripping and leaves your face clean. No need for double cleanse. Love it!

Great product! Thick luxurious feel and no scent. Works very well. I had previously written a one star review because this was degraded at one point to having a thin, runny consistency and an earthy/moldy smell. They changed it back.

My indispensable face wash, gentle, thorough, long lasting. I barely use a quarter teaspoon for face cleansing.

No fragrance or strange chemical smell, but was a bit drying. Lathers and cleanses well. Not a bad product at all, but I will probably stick with another cleanser, as this one is a bit drying. People with very oily skin will probably like it.

I have always had slightly oily skin, as I get older, less so, but still oily. I have loved Neutrogena (and not NEARLY as many products back in the late 60's, early 70's!) since I first tried it. WHY AND WHEN I use it now: NOT really moisturizing, but not drying either - FOR ME I only use it every other day. I use Dove's Baby Fragrance Free for Sensitive Skin the rest of the time. Neutrogena helps keep the oil at a minimum, but doesn't dry out my skin. IF you have dry skin, this may not be the right Neutrogena product for you. NO FRAGRANCE! I am VERY sensitive to fragrance. Didn't use to be til my forties and then lots of scents could give me a headache. I love this is fragrance free. Just as a bonus, I love the pump on this. I don't like soaps, I like liquids and this has a great bottle and pump. BOTTOMLINE: IF you have slightly oily skin, combo skin (and I use a moisturizer that agrees with my skin at night because as I have gotten older, I use retinol so top it with a moisturizer) and FRAGRANCE is a DEAL BREAKER, you may want to give this a try.

So glad to find this. I found the pads of my fingertips were slightly swollen and red, due to my cavalier approach to hand washing with any soap I had. Started using Neutrogena for hand washing, and the problems disappeared. Also, I have a tiny sink, and the bottle fits nicely there.

I have a sensitive skin and Neutrogena unscented products are ideal to use - I use Rainbath as well. They are very economical in use.
