This Takes The Win
This gate is amazing! Very heavy duty, the door shuts as it swings closed, the baby lock function is perfect, and very easy to install, looks great also, for the price its a steal!

Customer Service
I want to commend the impressive customer service from this company. I have purchased this gate prior for a different project and we like how convenient and easy it is to install while putting up to my toddler. We purchased this gate again and everything went well after the initial installation, we love how nice it makes the room look. However, this time the gate did not survive our toddler, barely a week in, she managed to damaged a few of the joints/connectors and compromised the entire gate. I was hesitant to reach out since I don't know how the company would respond but their responses and solutions was more than I imagine. They send us a new gate to replace it completely when I only ask for guidance in replacing the connectors. I am beyond grateful and appreciate the swift resolution as we do love the gate for the functionality of our family and since we had good experience with the previous gate. I did not want to purchase a different brand.

VERY happy with this baby gate! Great for awkward areas that need babyproofing!
I bought this Bonnlo Baby Gate after seeing a review/photo of someone who has a similar awkward layout to their home as I do. I have a raised ranch, and at the top of the stairs there is this big dangerous area around the top of the stairs where there is a metal railing and nowhere to easily attach a doorway gate (see photos). This worked very well for babyproofing this awkward area of my home! The gate is pretty reasonably priced compared to others on the market, it easily and effectively covers my open entrance at the top of my stairs as well as the whole metal railing along the edge of the stairs (where there is a potentially dangerous drop), it is easy to customize, it is a sturdy metal material, it doesn't move around easily, and it locks into place firmly. The door is easy to open for an adult, but my baby definitely isn't able to figure it out. The door can be locked shut or swung open in either direction and there is an option to keep it open without the door swinging around. I installed this myself, without any help from my husband so I would say installation is fairly simple. However, the instructions are in poorly translated English so that was a little bit annoying, but it was easy enough to figure out what to do based on the pictures and a little critical thinking. I ended up anchoring mine into a closet door frame (hard wood) and my entryway corner (metal stud) so it is SUPER stable. My baby pushes against it and it doesn't move at all. One modification that I did was placing thin, non-slip furniture pads on the whole base of the gate because I have hardwood floors that I would prefer not to damage! I'm not sure if this also helps hold the gate in place well, but I have no complaints. If you are looking for a long baby gate for any awkward places in your home that you'd like to babyproof, I would recommend buying this. Just be aware that the installation process might require a little bit of problem solving because the instructions aren't completely clear. Hope this helps!

Good Pen But Needs Better Quality Connectors and Latches
We mainly use this as a stand-alone barrier in the house for our 2 dogs and 4 month puppy; however, we also took it on an RV camping trip and used as a playpen. Worked like a charm for both uses. The gate works great, although the pieces holding it together are flimsy plastic (one was broken when it arrived but had an extra in box to replace it with). Have to be careful of those flimsy pieces when attaching sections togethwr. Update 6/2/20: As I said in my review before, some pieces on it are flimsy. The latching mechanism just broke at the top of tbe door as well as the part that latches at the bottom of the door. You have to lift up on the door to open it, and we were doing that, so not the reason they broke. I will say that I emailed Bonnlo customer support, and with no problems, they sent out both parts free of charge. Excellent customer service.

Very pleased, overall
First, the parts were extremely well packed. The packing material was foam and didn't shed like styrofoam. Thank you! Parts were well separated in the box and there was no scratching or damage. Next, it assembled easily but did take a good review of the instructions. I wish the wall mounts had some “quick release” (this is for a dog, not a toddler) mechanism, but they’re removable without any tools when the time comes. To remove the fence from the wall mounts requires partially disassembling the end connectors, held together with a push-pin mechanism. The latch mechanism is a little clumsy when opening, the pull-button-lift-gate sequence is a little hard for my elderly father, but the gate is very easy to close. To close, you don’t have to lift the gate, just swing it shut. Finally, the bottom connectors, which rest on the floor, could use felt glide pads to protect the floor. Or rubber, if you don’t want the fence to slide. Inclusion of felt and rubber stickers would have been a plus. I put felt pads on the bottom. All-in-all, the fence looks very good. Does not look like an ugly baby gate. The red button on the handle is subtle. The off white wall mounts match the linen color of the walls, and the white powder coated fence components look high quality. This is not something I’m going to grumble or curse at every time I walk by it.

Not made for homes with kids.
So I was extremely excited about this baby gate as it is shorter than our previous baby gate so me and my husband can step over it. But after setting it up it didn’t even last 12 hours. My two year old barely pulled on it and it literally snapped apart and broke. Definitely wasn’t worth the money. I figured it would be sturdy and would live up to the cost. However it didn’t even survive the first morning (we put it up late last night after the kids were asleep... and she was able to pull on the part that opens and it snapped the hinges in half). Definitely not made for toddlers. Maybe for pets but not for toddlers at all. She tried to open the latch and pull the gate open..... instead it just snapped. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We haven’t ever had a baby gate do that. Our toddlers have always been able to open the baby gates, we more so have them to slow them down and so we can hear when they’re going into the kitchen. Which works for us. But I was in the kitchen and told her she could come in the kitchen, and watched her push the red button and pull the gate and the hinges just snapped right in half. There is no way to fix it either as it’s the hinges right next to where the gate opens. Pretty bummed and upset. Idk if we got a faulty gate, or if all are like this. But I will not be purchasing or recommending this gate as a result. It was pretty easy to set up which I liked. And it looked nice. But it is not sturdy. And not made for homes with kids. And I’m sure if our big dog bumped into it now, it would have easily broke that way too. Such a shame.

Perfect for pellet stove
I’ve purchased this same gate twice and I absolutely love it. We got it a second time because we thought we were finally done with gates, but ended up needing another one again. It works perfectly around a pellet stove. It’s very easy to open and close when you need to add pellets, which makes it really convenient. The gate is sturdy and does a great job creating a safe barrier while still being easy for adults to use. I would definitely recommend it!

Good for awkward spaces
We have a Cumbor baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and the quality is amazing. The gate is wide and it closes and opens so easily. This one feels really cheap and like it will break at any second. We’ve had it for a few days and the piece that connects the gate at the bottom has already fallen off. It’s easy to put back on but every time I open and close it I feel like it’s going to break. The gate is also soooo narrow and if I’m bringing laundry or anything down I have to carry it up high to fit. The only reason why it works for us because the top of our stairs has an awkward placement of a higher banister and a regular baby gate wouldn’t work. Wouldn’t buy it if we had any other options.
