This is one of my favourite tools and I use it all the time.
This is an amazing tool. I still cannot believe they are selling this for around 15 bucks! The screwdriver is very easy to use and understand and free of any superfluous nonsense! This is a tool to get stuff done. There are much more advanced versions of this kind of machine available, for much more money, but for 99% of people who just need to get stuff done around the house, this is absolutely sufficient and has the best price/performance ratio. You can use it to screw clockwise or counterclockwise. You can arrest it and use it as a "normal", manual screwdriver. Even works as a drilling machine in softer materials! Lithium battery is powerful and holds the charge for like forever! This is one of my favorite tools and I use it all the time. There are only two bits ("bits" is the name of these screwdriver heads you can just put into the tip of the machine) included, one slot and one cross, so I would definitely buy an additional set of bits, I have the "Black & Decker 71-081 Double Ended Screwdriving Bit Set, 10-Piece".

Just Like The Old Days.
Black & Decker finally got around to bringing back the features from an older model screwdriver that made it useful. Had an old B&D NiCd screwdriver that looked a lot like the 9072. When the NiCd's wouldn't hold a charge any longer I bought a PD400LG because of the twist handle that gave you a choice of either a straight handle or a pistol grip handle. Well, besides that, most everything else was poorly designed. The location of the on/off switch almost guaranteed that you'd accidentally turn it on at the wrong time. Then they provided an LED light by the bit holder so you could see where the screw was when working in tight, dark places. Only trouble was it operated off of the on/off switch - so the screwdriver had to be turning in order for the light to come on. (B&D design engineers thought that was a good idea?) The forward/reverse switch was on the handle - but not well located if you constantly switching directions. Needless to say, when I saw the Li2000 I bought one. The on/off switch is back in the same place as on the older model where it's easy to get to, but not in the way. The forward/reverse switch is also back to where it was before - part of the same switch as the on/off. Now everything is controlled by one thumb. They added a multi-position handle that gives more choices that the previous one. They also added a gear lock, so you can use it as a regular screwdriver if you run out of power; so there are no worries about stripping the drive gearing. And, lastly, they got rid of that stupid light. This is a simple, well designed, easy to use, electric screwdriver they should have released years ago (rather than the one they did).

Low cost, low torque power screwdriver
I used to have a Skil power screwdriver (actually two of them) that I used quite frequently. They were handy for disassembling electronics and other items that are held together with a billion screws, and their limited torque helped prevent stripping out threads. The Skils gave up the ghost, or at least their batteries did, and I never bothered to replace them. I wasn't really fixing a lot of electronic stuff so I hadn't missed them much. Well, that was until recently when I had to disassemble/reassemble a laptop a half-dozen times to diagnose and fix a trackpad issue. I started to really miss the old power screwdriver, so I bought this. This is not a high-end tool, and that's OK. It's designed to be an inexpensive way to avoid having to turn screws by hand. I don't expect it to survive in an electrician's toolbag or a mechanic's shop, but for casual use it's perfect. I keep it charged and ready to go along with a bit holder and an assortment of bits (Philips, Torx, hex, etc.). My only nitpick is that it's slow. I've been spoiled by impact drivers that can run a screw out in a second flat. You have to be really careful using them on any screws threaded into plastic because it's easy to do some serious damage, but that speed is nice. This driver is stirring molasses by comparison. But that's a minor concern unless you're using it in a production environment, in which case you'd probably want something better anyhow. The purpose of this driver is to automate the repetitive motion of screwing or unscrewing, and it does that very well. At this price, I wouldn't be without it even though I use it sparingly.

Compact Powerhouse for Everyday Fixes
Compact Powerhouse for Everyday Fixes This BLACK+DECKER cordless screwdriver really surprised me with how practical it is for everyday jobs around the house. At just 3.6V it’s not designed to replace a full drill, but for tightening screws, assembling furniture, or tackling small household projects, it’s been a joy to use. The pivoting handle is a smart feature—you can lock it straight or angle it like a pistol grip depending on the space you’re working in. That flexibility really comes in handy in tight corners. I like that it’s lightweight and easy to control, so I don’t overdrive screws. The spindle lock gives me the option to use it like a manual screwdriver when I need more precision. It comes with two bits to get you started, and the standard hex shank means I can use it with the many bits I already own. Battery life has been more than enough for light to medium use, and charging is straightforward. If there’s one thing to be aware of, it’s that this isn’t meant for heavy-duty tasks—it’s best suited for smaller jobs. Also, while it has enough torque for household work, don’t expect it to drive long screws into dense wood without some effort. Bottom line: A well-thought-out cordless screwdriver that balances convenience and versatility. Great for quick projects, furniture assembly, and general household fixes without the bulk of a drill.

It is what it is for $20 and worth it.(It just went to$17.)
ADDENDUM: 8/6/2018. I just had to come back and up this to 5 stars; 6 if I could! The more I use it, the more I like it. I refinished my kitchen cabinets and used this on all of the hinges - perhaps 40 hinges X 6 screws each(?). It performed flawlessly through each day without needing a recharge and, held torque and speed the whole time. To be honest, I was surprised at just how well it performed. This is unbeatable for the money. END OF UPDATE I read some of the reviews before I bought this, especially the 1 and 2 star reviews. But, after a couple of 4 and 5 star reviews, I decided to try it out. OK; it is definitely a light duty tool but, that is expected. After all it is $20.00 not $120.00. One of the complaints was that it didn't drill very well(?). It most definitely is NOT a drill. It doesn't claim to be a drill so I was surprised at the reviewers expectations. Another was that it didn't have much torque or power. That is also true but, that is why it has a lock setting for breaking loose and snugging up the screws by hand. The very big advantage it gives is speed and continuity. That is, not needing to re-position your hand every quarter turn and possibly loosing contact with the screw head and dropping the screw because you were using your other hand to hold the pieces in position etc., etc. There were also complaints about the battery not holding a charge or, in a couple cases, not charging at all. I would suspect one of two things here. One is that the reviewer didn't read the instructions and fully charge it properly the first time and, the other is they just got a defective product. That's why Amazon has a great return/exchange policy. I've had to use it unfortunately and all was made right. The one complaint I completely agree with, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the location of the power switch and the awkward way it operates. However, this is not a big problem to overcome. In short; it is what it is and, there is no reason to fault it for not being a full size drill/driver tool. If you want to drill and drive torque and power, get a rechargeable hand drill, not a cordless screwdriver.

Great!
Excellent, works well, rechargeable, nice size, not super high torque but does the job I want it to, i.e. twisting rope together.

Light and fairly powerful for its size. The button is not great.
I used this with a case trimmer made by Hornady to drive the end mill. It is recommended that you use a cordless screwdriver but not a cordless drill. I purchased this because it was lightweight, compact, and probably has the correct amount of power without being overpowering. It is nothing like a cordless drill. Drills have way more power than cordless screwdrivers. The charger is decent. It just has a red LED when it is plugged in. There are no LEDs to indicate if it has a full charge or not. For that reason, I would not leave it charging for too long. The battery life is good enough for what I do with it. I charge it each time and so far, I have not run out of battery life. The downside is actually the power button. You can click it right for clockwise and left for counterclockwise. It works great in reverse but in forward (clockwise) it intermittently stops. It is a bit frustrating since I only use it in forward. I believe it has to do with the fact that the slider does not click into a position, it can easily be moved when you press the button. This may be an issue that only happens with my particular screwdriver. The handle can be made straight or angled at several different angles with the push of a button. It is very light which is really nice. It is decent quality and should work well for putting in screws. It came with a phillips bit and a flat head bit. I am now convinced that cordless screwdrivers are superior to drills for putting screws in a lot of the time. Having less power is actually a good thing in many cases. Of course, if you are putting a screw into wood, the drill may be the way to go and there are plenty of times you would want the power of a drill when putting in screws. This is probably the right tool for putting screws into sheet metal or anywhere that too much power could cause some damage.

This little guy? We definitely talk about this little guy...
Firstly, I hate mindless drones giving anything that turns on a 5...and at the same time I detest those who give anything that isn't their favorite color a one star. With that typed, this thing delivers... Appearance - 2/5. Its black and orange, which might not be anyone's favorite colour scheme, but that's not why we buy tools, so we press on. Ease of use 5/5 - It delivers when it comes to ergonomics and mobility. At first you might think the top operated button is clunky, till you actually start drilling and it all becomes rather unexpectedly easy. It might not look pretty, but it functions perfectly for the duty at hand. From cabinets , doors to drawers, its the right size and angle (pivot handle) for the small tasks. Now keep in mind this isn't a Dewalt power drill with 2000 rpm...its a small drill for menial tasks, so don't expect a wall drilling monster. Battery life 5/5 - Was drilling doorknobs, cabinets, a desk (legs), and a desk drawer for more than 5+ hours on one charge. This little guy delivers, really made that 4 star turn into a 5. The cons - It doesn't have a light, the battery is internal, and it has no trigger per say (again its at the top). Which some might find weird, but I got used to it immediately. Again, this could be a strong 4, due to how much it can take and how much I threw at it without overheating or breaking. But that battery life is the real MVP, I don't normally give 5's especially with tools, but B&D delivered here.

A US to UK adaptor for battery charging is required.
This B&D product is a replacement for my 25 year old version. The new one is as good as the old with advantage of the 3 selectable positions. There are possibly better versions of these drivers on the market ( at a much higher price) but this model is perfectly adequate for everyday home use. The only problem with the item is that it is now a US import and the battery charger is fitted with a composite US charger / electricity plug. However a standard US to UK adaptor works fine.

The charger hasn't got a UK compatible 3-pin plug
Exactly what I wanted except the charger wasn't fitted with a UK 3-pin plug but with a (metal) 2-pin plug, possibly for the American market. I sent it straight back and got a refund right away thanks to Amazon's excellent Returns Policy...well done Amazon.
