Why does it take so long for this to ship??

Federal regulations require that a chemical fluid of this quantity be shipped via ground-shipping.

Can the Prestone AS250 be used in the windshield washer fluid reservoir that is under the hood?.

Yes you can use Prestone De-Icer for your underhood washer reservoir and you also use the spray either with the pump action or manual spray of the pressured cans, I have be using this stuff for over 20yrs. I even use them for all season items too !

What are the ingredients? What is the percentage of methanol in this product?

The label only states as follows: "Contains methyl alcohol (67-56-1), ethylene glycol (107-21-1)." I understand that methyl alcohol is methanol. As for the three-number sequence, I understand this to pertain to the "CAS" registration number ("CAS" being the "Chemical Abstracts Service"), and does not provide any information as to percentage of any component. However, as methanol is the first listed ingredient, I presume that it is at least 50% of the mix. Not sure why this is of importance to you, but if you need to know the percent of methanol in this product, perhaps best you contact Prestone (see http://prestone.com/enmx/products/car_care/windshield_washer_fluids).

will this fluid damage my silicone wiper blades?

I only use silicone wiper blades on my vehicles, and I only use Prestone washer fluid in my vehicles. I have had zero issues or negative interactions between the wipers and the fluid.
