Just buy it. Only used once, but I never write reviews and this was well worth the purchase and writing a review for. Hoping the motor and everything holds up for many more baby’s to come (first time mom). The motor does make noise but sense it’s a steady noise I think it actually helps my baby stay calm and relaxed similar to white noise. Sound machine is quiet, but I already have a wireless sound machine that I put near the swing. Swing settings go really fast, she only needed level 3. Very sturdy and very simple to put together. I like that the seat will easily detach from the motor for moving between rooms, very lightweight. 3 months of non stopping holding my little one and I don’t regret a second but if your baby doesn’t chill unless being held, just buy it!!!

Works great! Simple to operate. A Lot of music and sounds. Has a volume button. We have used for several babies now and it's still in good condition. Easy to disassemble and store. It makes it easier for fussy babies to sleep. Easy to move to a different room. Swings good. I usually just use the 1st or 2nd setting. Alittle hard to get through smaller doorways without disassembling.

Overall this is a pretty awesome swing. Cute design, sturdy construction and the 5 point harness makes baby super secure. The head insert works for our 2 month old. We started using it when he was 1.5 months but he was already 13ish lbs so for a smaller baby you may need to add a better head support or rolled up towel. It does make a tiny bit of noise while it swings - not as in a defect but just from the mechanism itself. Like a click each time it reaches one side or the other. Nothing overly annoying. A few weeks in it did develop a squeak which i wasn't happy about but it seems to have resolved itself sinc. It only swings side to side not forward and backward. LOVEEE that it gives you a cord to plug in and doesn't run on batteries. Very few swings have this convenience anymore. It plays classical songs or nature sounds and lets you change the volume or mute it. It goes pretty loud. It has 6 different strengths of swinging and 2 strengths of vibration. The vibration requires batteries in an extra compartment. The swing when assembled is too wide to fit through a door frame you have to finagle it and turn it to the side. So not very mobile if you're looking to move it from room to room a lot. I wish the mobile turned on it's own but that's okay. You really can't beat this for the price. It's an awesome little swing and so far has been a saving grace and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Works well. I do wish there was a timer option for the music (like my old one), but music shuts off after an hour.

I was a bit nervous about this product because the price was significantly lower than others like it. My worries were totally unfounded. The biggest thing I love about this is that it plugs into a wall outlet! I did not want to have to buy batteries all the time. I also like that it does have the option to run it on batteries in case you do want to use that option. I want to address some of the biggest complaints I've seen in the reviews: 1. The swing provides little or no support for small/newborn babies -- I can't she'd much light on this because we bought it for our 14lb 5 month old who sits just fine in it. However, I can say that the padded head support is thin and doesn't look like it would support a tiny baby. 2. The swing speed is extremely slow or barely moves for heavier babies -- this concerned me because well, if the swing doesn't swing, what's the point? My son is currently 14lbs which some reviewers said this swing would not support. Our swing has no problems swinging my son's weight. Sometimes it does seem to start a little slow when you crank up the speed but I simply give it a little swing myself and it picks right up at that speed and continues it. It had no problems starting and maintaining lower speeds. 3. It is very loud when swinging -- some reviewers said that this swing was so loud that it drove them mad and they had to turn it off. In my experience, unless you're extremely sensitive to sound, the clicking and whirring noise shouldn't be a bother at all. It's the same noise that every swing I've ever seen makes. I can't help but wonder if some people had recieved swings with defective motors if they were that loud? 4. The music is horrid and obnoxious -- even the 4 and 5 star reviews mentioned how bad the music was. We have a baby chair that makes the most ob noxious, high pitched sound when the toy is pulled (we don't pull the toy haha) so I was kind of expecting the swing music to be like that. I wasn't planning on using the music feature just because of how bad people said it was. Well, I checked it out after we set it up and I was pleasantly surprised! I actually like the music! I find it very calming and not obnoxious at all. Both me and baby fall asleep with it on. But, if by chance you fall into the camp that finds the music insufferable, just know that you can leave it off and turn it off with just the push of a button. 5. The mobile doesn't spin -- this is true. The mobile just hangs on the swing there is no movement to it. Yes, it would be nice if the mobile spun to keep the baby's attention (my son doesn't seem to care at all about the non moving mobile) but for the price, I can't complain! Overall, I would definitely recommend this swing! It's budget friendly, doesn't take up a ton of space, is easy to assemble and it keeps baby happy!

As a second time mom with babies that NEED the movement to sleep i highly recommend this. If you need that moment to just self care(sleep,shower,eat) this is for you. The levels are at first a little unnerving but the child stays secure with the adjustable straps. It has wide selection for sound/music. The ability to take it apart is so nice because my babies just had a lot of blow outs from milk sensitivities. This also is so easy to move from room to room and the wire is long so I can also adjust the distances from me in any room so I can keep an eye while I wash bottles or lay and rest.
