Nice and well built. Diameter is smaller than most oar locks . But works well once the extra space is taken up.

Depends on your boat and intended use
If you are buying these as main source of propulsion on an aluminum 12-14 ft boat, you may be better off with traditional longer wood oars. However, if you use them for occasional use or a backup should your motor quit, these may be the right choice. On my 14 ft jon boat with low side height these were perfect for occasional use. I bought oarlocks off Amazon that were for a larger diameter oar, bought a 12” bike inner tube, cut tube in half, wrapped oars and put on oar locks. Works great for my intended use.

These look like they will work just fine for a small 10 ft row boat :-)

They are NOT HEAVY-DUTY, but would be fine as a back-up
These are very thin and light weight "oars." Meaning, they are really just 1.12" shaft collapsible paddles without a T-grip. They might work on an inflatable (toy) raft, but if you want to use them on a metal frame Savy (like a pontoon boat), you'll probably bend them the first time you put your back into it. They are NOT HEAVY-DUTY by any stretch--unless you're comparing them to those plastic toy "oars" that come with pool toys.

Very sturdy!! I recommend it
I purchased this as an extra set of oar for an Intex Excursion 4 inflatable boat that I purchased because the original oars that came with the boat was prone to get broken according to many reviewers. These oars feel very solid based on my comparison with the original intex oars. I haven't used it many times, but based on my initial impressions these should last very long. Very sturdy!! I recommend it.

Flimsy and scratch within minutes of use
Very flimsy and short, not good for use with a jon boat. Scratched all over within minutes of using them on the boat. Due to their mini size you can't properly move a 3 person boat with these.
