- This is for 1 blue dwarf Mexican crayfish They are interesting little creatures and they do well in 5 gallons or more. They are just like the orange dwarf Mexican crayfish just a blue color. They get about an inch long or smaller, these are NOT the aggressive large Electric blue crayfish, they stay small. FYI IF YOU HAVE BAD LIGHTING IN YOUR TANK THEY MAY LOOK GRAY OR SLATE BLUE. I have very nice fluval l.e.d. lights which bring color out! Just a heads up!! They can snip long flowy fins on certain fish such as guppies ( they do it in my tanks little rascals) but for the most part they are peaceful as long as they are well-fed. they love a ed tank it makes them feel more comfortable but its not required. Most of my dwarf crayfish look like the one in the main photo but some of them are a light blue or a slate blue-gray I will try to get the royal blue ones for you but this is just a warning that you may not receive one that looks EXACTLY like my main photo. They are living creatures :) not clones, differences in appearance happen I would also put them in an aged or cycled tank I would not put them in a brand new set up for a tank you just started they are too sensitive to not have bio- film in the tank. If you order more than one I will bag them separately in breather bags so they don't hurt each other in transit. I also use heat packs for cold weather..
