Do they work for pigs and if not, what do you recommend?

work great on goats never tried on pigs

How long are the blades?

The blade is 2.25" from hinge to tip of blade. I use this for trimming bushes and they stay super sharp. This is my second one.

Can you buy new springs? I have a bunch of pairs and keep loosing spring as such I have 6 pairs and only 1 spring...

Sure! You can buy replacement springs! They are available online, do a search for: Zenport Q91-P1 and you will find what you are looking for!

How long will these last if i use them on pygmy goats only?

Of course it depends on how many goats you have, but they should last a long time. I've been using mine on a small herd of Nigerian dwarf goats for over a year and they are still as good as new.
