GreatShield VANTAGE Series Multi-Angle Denim Fabric Case with Sleep / Wake Cover for Google Nexus 7 2nd Generation (2013) - Black

I chose this case specifically to fit my needs. Bought this back in March, so there's been enough time spent with it to offer my opinions on it. Here are my findings so far:PLUSES:- Angle notches gives me viewing flexibility, rather than one or two that most other cases offer.- Construction is tops. The stitching is strong, while the fabric looks high end (and easy to clean to boot). I haven't noticed any wrinkled fabric at the folds - a testament to the quality build.- It won't break your bank. It's in line with other cases in the genre, but the Vantage offers a balance of features vs. price compared to others.- Padded front and back covers offer quite a bit of protection for your 7 (see minus below).MINUSES:- You have to ensure that the tablet is inserted and seated ALL the way in before you secure the Velcro strap. Not doing so will cause the inner edge of the case screen aperture to overlap the tablet screen edge. It's just a small overlap, but if you swipe from left often, then if can be annoying.- The case doesn't show off the 7's sveltness. Its thickness (granted, it's not ugly or substantial by any means) offers protection, but at times I wish it were thinner. There are options for you, such as the Poetic Slimlines, but for some reason, the stitch and manufacturing quality for the Nexus 7s look dreadful.

I finally decided on the best cover for my tablet. It was a hard choice. This case cover. I love it. The style is great. The soft feel of the fabric, inside and out. The ajustable stand to watch movies late a night or during the day a plus along with the sleep/awake feature.It has a sturdy look and feel to it. Nice soft padding not to thick to make the case look bulky, just enough to add that protection you need. I am very happy with this product. and it arrive early than expected. I will recommend to family and friends.

The design and feel of this case are fine, but thee was one problem; the magnetic spot to turn of the screen was not in the right place, so you had to really stretch the cover when closing it to make the screen sleep. I corrected it by putting on a small magnet in the right place.

I do love the look of the case but one thing was very disappointing (thus one star taken away)The "smart" sleep/wake functionality of the case doesn't work sometimes.Room for getting the magnet alignment just right is too narrow.The appearance, however, makes up for its lackluster performance on functionality.The case makes the nexus 7 look like it's a small notebook which I love!

Met all of my expectations. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a Well constructed nexus 7 (2014) cover.
