Does the pointer stay at it’s recorded measurement each time to make it easy to remove from the force but still read the measurement?

Yes stays at force then you press button to reset back to 0 there is a dial for minute adjustments. I use mine for checking automatic door forces works great

Could this be used to conduct an elongation test of and elastic band?

Of course, if the value of the test is within the range of the force gauge. Or it will damage the force gauge.

MHE

Great for measuring measuring forces on MHE. The increments could do with being even increments instead of 2.5 per increment.

Fazit: sehr gutes Werkzeug
