I bought this because I wanted to have a place to put my phone down to charge that was convenient while still being on my desk. I looked at a bunch of different wireless charging options but all of them required that I modify my furniture in order for them to work. I have a custom steampunk style desk and I don't want to make any changes to it. I also needed a mouse pad anyway so this really did make a huge difference. I'm constantly dictating on my phone so being able to put it down between note-taking and having it charge right on my desk, unencumbered, is great!The mouse pad/charger totally met my needs and its Fast Charge capable too with the right adapter.

I like everything about it. Especially the size and ease of use.
