Napoli - Stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers with Prosciutto & Aged Provolone

Delivery was on time and these were packaged very well, which was something I worried about. Moved south 12 years ago and haven't found these in a regular grocery stored down here. We were so happy to find these on Amazon. They are quality, delicious and everything I remembered and hoped they would be. We will be ordering more. Highly recommend!

The peppers themselves are nice and crisp, which I love. Sometimes cherry peppers end up a little mushy, and the skin a bit like unchewable plastic, but the texture with these is perfect. No complaints there. They’re a touch spicy, which is nice. My issue is with the cheese. It seems much more like feta than provolone, and it crumbles into a mealy, unappetizing texture in your mouth. Especially when you’re expecting something firmer, like a solid chunk of provolone. The flavor of the cheese is okay—and again seems more like feta—but it’s not what I expected or wanted. The jar is pretty small for the price in my opinion, and there is no “POP” of the lid’s seal when it’s opened. Will have to keep looking for the perfect stuffed peppers, like the ones they used to have in a local deli department.

These peppers were incredible! I have a low tolerance for spicy so I can only eat 1 at a time but they were delicious, very well packed, and I can't wait to order more. I read a review that was not very pleasant, where the reviewer was upset about the "white stuff, I think it was provolone" inside these peppers. Please be aware, these prosciutto and provolone stuffed peppers are indeed.....stuffed with prosciutto and provolone.

Every pepper in the jar was soft and mushy texture. I gre up eating Napoli stuffed peppers. The pepper should be crisp and fresh. These pretty much disintegrated while removing from the jar. I ended up throwing them away.

The peppers are huge, which was not the problem. Problem was that the cheese was gross. Maybe it was provolone, I don't know. What it was was crumbly, as in powdery. So that, mixed with the oil tasted and felt very off-putting. The tiny bit of prosciutto helped. Sorry guys, I really wanted to like this. But had to throw it away.

I have eaten these peppers for years and would have enjoyed much better but these being TOO hot, takes away the flavor!!
