Day 1 review!! Nice stopping power, better than the factory ones (18k miles so first brake job) One came warped, but that was probably the shipping. Normal install, didn't have the kerosene crap to wash off due to the coating. That was nice. 50 miles to break in clean the surface. No squeaking, reports of squeaking is probably the pad retention pin very annoying to deal with. They should come with new hardware. But that aside, they look great, perfect fit and are cheeper than most other sites based on the part code.

2021 dodge challenger GT. Fits perfect. Stops way better than the factory sets. Drove to my dad’s house and he was able to install them easily. Keep in mind the black will scrap off. But honestly the grooves left with the black paint looks pretty cool to me. Everyone is entitled to their one opinion. You can expect for the black coating to not ware off with breaking. But are you purchasing for the color or for its performance? So far it’s been 6 months, no rust and no squeaky noise when braking. They allow the car to stop smoothly and when I need it to. Go cop these if you need brakes.

I guess my first complaint is probably unrealistic. Wish the rotors would stay black. FYI one or two drives and black coating is gone. Once coating is gone rotors driving or parked if any type of water direct or indirect start to rust and big blotches of it. On top of it if you're heavy or light on your brake pedal it constantly squeaks. I'm sure I'm going to have to replace them sooner than I should. Who knows what the rust and squealing is doing to the pads. Tried everything to quiet them down. No luck. Look for another setup. Don't spend money on them.

This kit does NOT COME WITH CLIPS so I just used my old ones . So far so good . No squeaking sounds. GREAT stopping power . Looks good on my car 10/30/25 update : Brakes are squealing stoping at low speeds. Not sure if it’s cuz I have ceramic brakes or what bt I’m 7k miles in

Once the break paths hit their back silver

Bought these for my 2021 challenger RT. Fit perfect, no squeaks or sounds yet after a week or so. Will update if anything pops up but so far so good. If your worried if they will fit don’t worry they fit like a glove and look great.

This was a major hassle purchase. Withing a month of install I started to notice a vibration. My mechanic told the rear rotors were warped. To R1's credit, with my mechanic's write up and following the warranty process on R1's website, the rotors were quickly replaced. More labor costs to make the replacement. Another month goes by, and now a vibration in the front of the car. Back to the mechanic, and you guessed it, now the front rotors warped. In fact, you could actually see the uneven surface of the rotor! Same warranty process, and more labor charges. Everything was finally smooth driving...for about 100 miles then the tell-tale signs of warp AGAIN. Now I have zero confidence in this product. Contacted R1, and was told "As the rotors have already been replaced under warranty, we’re unable to provide another replacement". Contacted Amazon with my woes, the customer rep was fantastic, very sympathetic and offered the option to return the product. This is why I shop at Amazon. And, powder coated? Can't imagine these are anything more than just painted, as the rust set in really fast.

These are great upgrades for any car. Worked on my 2017 Dodge challenger RT. No squeaks. High performance. Low brake dust. Much lighter than the original set
