It was about time for me to replace the broom I have had for over 15 years and I never liked the metal handle. This one has a good sturdy wooden handle and the bristles are securely sewn. I am pleased with my purchase.

This broom was exactly what I was looking for: long, strong handle and straw bristles just like we used to get!!! I am SO pleased with this Rubbermaid broom! I have purchased other brooms that had plastic bristles that I didn’t care for (but I did like the dust pans) and straw whisk brooms that had a stiff breakable inner layer and a myriad of seeds that needed to be vacuumed up after usage. But this broom is pure heaven! Compared to what I used to pay for similar brooms it seemed pricey, but after using it, I can’t complain! Neat, old fashion appearance, comfortable in your hands, and easy to use…thank you Rubbermaid!

The size is fine and the handle is durable but the bristles are flimsy. I wanted this for outdoor use . Would not recommend for outdoor use nor do I find this “heavy duty” as stated.

These brooms are best for sweeping up outdoors. They do the job without kicking up a bunch of dust.

I was looking for an old fashioned broom, not happy with today's plastic bristle product. Have not had this one for long, but I am very happy with it to date. Does a good job getting dirt out from cupboard overhangs.

I bought this recently to replace the one that my cat had ruined by chewing on the bristles. I could have bought a cheaper broom at a local business, but all they seemed to stock were brooms with soft plastic bristles that aren't nearly as good as sweeping up dust and dirt. Plus, I admit, I had my heart set on buying a classic "witch broom." It's as sturdy as the one it replaced, but, as noted earlier, these brooms do seem to attract cats, so it's best to keep them out of sight it you're a cat owner.

Nothing cleans a floor like a corn broom! Love it and use it often! I remember watching my gramma and my mom use these brooms and they always knew what worked best

I bought this for sweeping outside on the patio and deck. Bristles are very soft, and don’t sweep up leaves etc well at all. On the positive side it’s nice and wide and handle is sturdy.
