Plain Family Size Stainless Steel Spiral Washboard by Columbus Washboard Co.

I love having this washboard! It is strong and durable so far, as we have very dirty clothes that need a hard scrubbing. I cleans off easily, has a spot for the soap, and I like the lip on the edge to rest on a bucket. The only problem I see with it is that the family size is so gosh darn tiny its even awkward to wash jeans on, let alone towels or bed sheets.

This washboard is going to be a christmas gift for my mom. She loves washboards, but if you buy them from a shop they are so expensive...so she usually just passes them up. This board is completely PLAIN..which is what I was looking for. It is hard to find a plain unbranded board anywhere. I'm going to personalize it with my Cricut! It is a bit smaller than the previous one I bought, but I'm keeping this one because it is very well made and unbranded. I also LOVE the little postcard that came with it...thinking about framing it as a gift as well.

Will work OK for my jug band but I don't think I would wash Levi's with it.

Like it I wash my son white baseball pant and I was able to get the grass and dirt stains off.
