UPDATE ON FAVORITE FLAVORS: Their creamy smoothness has only improved over the years! My new favorites are Cinnamon Cereal, Chocolate, and Banana Cream Pie (tastes like Runts banana candy). Vanilla was ok and strawberry wasn't very good. Super filling shake that is great for weight loss! ----------- It's hard to find a quality protein powder with minimal ingredients. Finding a grass fed protein powder at reasonable prices is difficult. Most of the grass fed powders I have seen are in the ultra high luxury end of the market. This one is in the reasonably priced high end market. PROS: -I like that it's grass fed because grass fed dairy products have better micronutrition -Mixed with milk it is extra creamy -0g fat and almost no carbs (I like to get my carbs and fat from tastier sources and not protein powders) -Slow digesting and helpful for weight loss CONS: -I tried both flavors (vanilla and chocolate). Both wrappers did not peel nicely from the top. (I had to peel the wrapper twice because the inner layer stayed intact). This is a minor complaint that the manufacturer should probably fix... To the last point, about weight loss: I think casein protein powders are underrated for weight loss. They're very helpful to feel full longer. One of my favorite ways to eat a very filling breakfast on few calories is: FILLING BREAKFAST: -casein protein shake -cottage cheese + a little bit of jam -A few egg whites It's slow digesting protein staked with slow digesting proteins. I feel full for 4-8 hours easily off of that.

I usually purchase Whey+ from Legion, and have tried pretty much all of the flavors. So it seemed natural to me to try their Casein+ as well. I bought the Vanilla and found it to be quite tasty. The powder mixed well in my shaker bottle MOST of the time, and I liked the consistency. To me, the sweetener did not leave any odd or funny aftertaste. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

I've had a love/hate relationship with casein protein for almost two decades. I LOVE the benefits, and that it helps feed my muscles throughout the night, supporting recovery and growth and limiting catabolism (don't wanna lose those gains while you're sleeping :) ). But I HATE casein protein because the flavor is either terrible or loaded with artificial junk (flavors, colors, preservatives) or the texture makes me want to spit it back into my shaker bottle. Legion has come in and solved both issues. I bought both Vanilla and Milk Chocolate. Flavor is easily a 10/10. It even competes with Legion's delicious Whey+ products. But where they really exceeded was the texture. Casein can be gritty, sandy, or sometimes super thick (to hide the grittiness). Casein+ is oh so SMOOTH! If you want a real bedtime treat, make yourself some Casein+ icecream (takes less than 5 mins): 1) Get a decent blender 2) Add 6-8oz of unsweetened almond milk 3) Fill the rest of the blender bottle 2/3 up with icecubes (should be about 8 regular sized ice cubes) 4) Add in 1 - 1.5 scoops of Legion's Casein+ 5) Optional (for extra creaminess) - add in 1/4 TSP of Xanthan Gum powder 6) Blend until the motor dies! You'll have yourself a delicious, low calorie, super high protein, perfect bedtime snack. Your welcome!

Mixes well with my blender and milk for ice cream. The taste is great and I don't feel bloated or gross after. I've also mixed it with water so it's pretty easy to use

I was looking for a protein cassein protein powder with limited artificial ingredients to replace my current pp and a review led me to this product. Shipment - the bag came with a tear in it and I had to transfer the contents to a freezer bag. Product - I first added the powder to my cottage cheese snack. It did not blend at all to the cc (not an issue with other pp's) and I had to add a bit of water to get it to stick (gross). The taste was just bad all around, bland, chalky, grainy) I tried it again the next morning by adding it to my morning breakfast shake. It did not blend well again (had to scrape the side of the shaker to get it in) and the taste was terrible. I made it half-way through my shake and threw the rest out as it was inedible. I appreciate the limited product ingredients and natural flavorings but to my taste, it is not something I will ever use again. Expensive and a waste of my money. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Really loved this Casein+ - Mixes superbly and doesn’t have that chalky unpleasant texture that some casein does. It’s also super healthy as it’s grass fed, no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. There’s a lot of research suggesting casein and whey combined post workout is most effective. This is perfect for that as it tastes anmazing and won’t ruin your shake. Legion are also cGMP, NSF-certified, FDA compliant and third party tested so you know you’re getting a top product. I use this mostly pre bedtime as it’s slow digesting. Strongly recommend - best casein I’ve ever had.

I dont like posting reviews especially bad ones but I saw a previous review with similar contamination. I can't tell if this seal was put on the bottle with heat and that's what this is or mold forming I was hoping to use this product tonight but I'm really not sure about it at all now

Tastes pretty good. I usually hate stevia, and the dream would be an unflavored casein; but this was pretty yummy. After hearing that Dr Bill Campbell consumed casein with his breakfast to keep full, I was curious. I tried it and it worked well. It’s a pleasure to drink. No bad aftertaste. If you’re like me and you like the feeling of being full, this is amazing. Strongly recommended.

I am surprised by some of the other reviews. 2 scoops in 400ml of milk only took a few good shakes in a shaker and came out with no chunks or grit just a perfect cremey protein shake
