first time user who has had a lot of experience with gelatin. agar agar worked fine. however, gelatin is more rubbery, smoother on the surface and chewy.

Could not recommend more. Wanted vegan gelatin alternative to make fruit juice gummy bears. Great price. Works just like gelatin.

It won’t make gummies how we have them in the US but more of a soft or hard jelly. So the agar agar does its job. It’s a nice and fine powder that dissolves quickly without lumps but don’t think you’ll be able to make gummies with the same texture as usu g gelatin
