The tip on the one I received is rough, needed it the next day so to sand it down myself. It could have been rough anyplace else but not on the tip, that is absurd.

Good quality and unusual design
I bought this yad for my daughter to use on her Bat Mitzvah. We received many compliments on the design. It is also nicely weighted and feels well-crafted, so it sits well in the hand. I also like that the chain could be removed if it got in the way. This makes a great Bar/Bat Mitzvah gift or gift for someone who reads Torah regularly.

CHEAP LOOKING
This was not smooth and polished out as it appeared in the photo. It was rather rough and unfinished looking to me. It looks CHEAP.
