We bought this to replace a 1972 kenmore dehumidifier that dimmed the lights when it started up. This unit is smaller. The controls are easy to use and the led lights cast a nice light. While the humidity hasn't spiked yet due to cooler than normal temps this spring I did test the unit out in our basement utility room that houses a sump pump and does often seem to be damp. It seemed like it took a while to start collecting water but definitely reduced the humidity in the room over a few hours. I was also surprised at the energy consumption while running at just over 84 watts. At 12 hours a day of usage this should only cost around $4 a month to run. Your costs may vary based on local electricity costs. Overall I was pleased with the ease of use and small footprint. It's quiet when it's running which is a plus.

I’ve had this for a week now and I’ve already emptied it once and it is already half filled already. It was extremely easy to use. All you do is plug it in and press the power button. It easy to pour the water out you just slide it out and lift the lid and pour out the water, then easily slide it back into the slot. It gotten significantly cooler in my apartment ever since this has been on. In addition my humidity sensor in my apartment has been significantly lower than what it used to be. I would 10/10 recommend for smaller areas. It works well in my 1 bedroom apartment, and I have it in my living room, and the noise is not that loud. I haven’t even used the sleep mode on this.

After getting a nest for our home we saw that we had very high humidity and decided to look for a dehumidifier. I landed on this one which had decent reviews overall and it was affordable so I figured why not. When it came it was much smaller than I expected which was fine. After a few days of using we were noticing a significant amount of water in the tank which was great and according to the nest it was indeed working. However a couple of months it was extremely loud and stopped working altogether, I emailed the company and never received a response so we're back on the market for another dehumidifier.

I purchased this dehumidifier for my bathroom due to mold issues. After using it for a week, I would say it does its job and works well. The noise level is very low so it is very similar to white noise in the background. It collects water very easily and with the sleek design it makes my bathroom look a little aesthetic. It is not bad and very easy to set up. The fan is a little on the lower end but for the price of this dehumidifier I would say it is not bad.

I purchased this dehumidifier three weeks ago and am still debating whether to return it. The operation is fair but the sleep mode is no different from standard mode - both are equally noisy. As a school teacher I would grade this a C+.

This thing kicks butt!! I just logged on to buy another one, and they're out of stock, I'm soooo bummed!!! Depending how and where you place it, it works faster in contained spaces, slower out in the open.
