Works but had to reinstall several times.
After wiring the wires kept coming out. Had to strip wire twice to get it right. Doesn't grip the wire very well.

I'm glade I spent the extra money for this
I paid the extra money to get a commercial grade replacement. Not sure if others are like this, but this is by far the best replacement plug I have ever used (and I have replaced multiple plugs throughout my life). The craftsmanship is excellent. The wires plug directly into the back (no hassles with clamps and trying to make the sleeve fit over the wires. The sleeve has a small indent that accepts a ridge on the plug itself, making it soooo simple to slide the sleeve over and the bolts perfectly aligned. Very sturdy housing and I do appreciate the sleek design.

Worked as expected. Strong and secure connections
Worked as it should. Easy to install, good markings on the inside of the plug showing how long to strip the wire. Used it with a 12 AWG cord. Would probably not be good for lamp cord. But it worked great for me.

Great replacement for Festool Vac!
Used to replace plug on a Festool CT48. Great product. Smaller than expected in a good way. Matched the quality of the tool it was added too.
